My new 55" tv is too big for the shelf I put it on so the sides are behind the support columns. I'm only losing about an inch on either side so it shouldn't be an issue but I really should have planned it better.

Get out a chainsaw and trim those babies down.

I actually did that once in the Florida room with a small electric chainsaw inside the house once when we first bought the house. The previous owners had built a cheap dividing wall in the middle of it, the wife thought i was kidding until she came home later that day and I was standing in the middle of the wreckage with goggles on and a grin 😛

It's pretty huge these days and has been remodeled.

It's a mobile rack made of heavy gauge stainless steel wire. So a chain saw isn't going to cut it, so to say. 😉 What I could do is weld or otherwise attach a wall mount to the front of the shelves and then use that. That would work and I do have a spare mount. Or I could call LG and see if there's a way to set the rig to underscan and emulate a 53" screen. I do that when I use it as an extra monitor for the PC and the sizing is perfect.

Speaking of which, I had to install 2012 AMD drivers to get the extended desktop to work properly. Eyefinity sucks monkey wang.

It would, I just didn't want to reconfigure the WiFi AP. Fortunately I found the remote, they put it in the box marked "DVDs".

Double NAT?

I spent an hour reading up on the difference between claims-made and occurrence based insurance policies. Apparently, claims-made policies go up over time until the ~5 year mark but they start lower than occurrence based. FML, didn't expect for it to go up much year over year.

^I have considered inhaling probiotics for a while.

Edit: Reading Australian stuff... people state their rent or mortgage payments by the week. Very annoying having to convert those to monthly payments mentally but you can't easily because multiplying by 4 only gets you to 28 days.

Probiotics, activated charcoal, etc... tried all that mojo but ultimately Pepto Bismol Max is still what moves it best. The other stuff only helps prevent it in the first place, not get rid of it.

Trying to find a place that fills propane tanks in winter after 5 here is like pulling teeth.

I finally broke down and just bought a new tank at a gas station though the exchange program. I have a practically brand new tank so did not really want to exchange it. Figured it won't hurt to have an extra. I'll try to get up earlier tomorrow to fill the other tank. I found a place that does fill but they close at 5. Canadian Tire does not seem to do it in winter.

Need the propane so I can power a small garage heater so I can then troubleshoot my snowblower. It keeps stalling. I think I just need to clean the carb and stuff. But don't really want to work in -20.

I really need to finish/insulate my garage one of these days. Even with the propane heater most of the heat is just going to be lost. But I can at least point it towards my hands while I'm working.

Registered a business name... then looked it up and variations of it on the Canadian and U.S. trademark databases: no records found. Even google only returjs 5 results or less. I swear, some little bitch better not come along with a cease and desist letter.

can't you take the snowblower inside the house?

Going to get 8" of snow tomorrow. That's not really a problem for the blower which can transport sh** into the next time zone. But my street is one of the last to get plowed so I'm probably going to be snowed in.

I'm redownloading Battlefield 1 after deleting it a few weeks back so I could get some work done... Well, work's done.

Edit: And Craigslist, oh, Craigslist. Some dude bailed on me last week, said he'd reschedule, disappears all week, then comes back and low-balls me. I'm not that retarded...

Got a replacement Motorola X Pure, complete with a bright white stuck pixel on it.
Just RMA'd it as well.

Also got the wife a S7 Edge so for the first time ever, she has a better phone than I do. (6S Plus.):weary:

There's no way I'd want to work on that indoors even if I could somehow manage to get it in the house.

Tried to work on it now that I had propane for a heater but the 18,000 btu little heater was just not enough heat and given my garage is not insulated I was just losing it right away, my hands are freezing. Going to have to find a place that can come pick it up and service it.

The top button on my iPhone stopped working last night (it's the one that powers the screen off). It's Snowpocalypse outside today, so I don't want to go out to fix it & no repair places are probably open anyway. So now I'm stuck waiting 30 seconds for it to power off before putting it back in my pocket (the fastest it will auto-lock).
