I hate buying shoes... it's why I only have two pairs.
I hate it too, but for me it's because I have small ass pussy feet (US size 7 I'd say) and no one seems to make footwear for less than size 8, or 7.5 if you can (rarely) find those. I don't think like 2+ inches of empty space in size 8 shoes is right so I gotta go smaller. At least I have a huge shleckum (that big/small feet thing is a myth).

Not to be a bitch, but that's kind of a plus... kid's sizes should have you covered and they're usually cheaper.

I bought some rosemary yesterday to try recreating the Quaker oats instant rosemary/apple/cheddar oatmeal, but using steel cut oats, and it's nowhere to be found. I don't know what happened to it, and I was really looking forward to that this morning :^(

Checked my blood pressure and weight at Wegmans. I highly dislike the talking machine that wants to gather my data, and get me to download their (cr)app to 'track' my health.

The fwp is I have borderline high blood pressure, and I'm overweight. I knew the overweight part, but it wasn't as bad as I thought; 230#. I feel like a real lardass though. Ideally, I'd like to drop 30# cause I like round numbers, but 20's fine too. I need to quit eating so much crap when I'm at work. It's super easy to do cause I'm all over the place, and food out always looks better than food I've brought with me :^/

Went to Petsmart and there were tons of kids running around screaming, holding up the line. Went to get a hair cut and there were tons of kids running around screaming, holding up the line. Went to get lunch and there were tons of kids running around screaming, holding up the line. Whatever happened to child labor? I guarantee there's salt to be mined on a Sunday. :p

Left eye was burning, so I rubbed it... now everything out of my left eye is blurry. It'll go away after a while but annoying.

Edit: And I've been watching Masterpiece PBS for weeks thinking Laura Linney was Sigourney Weaver -- voice only.

I don't watch many movies but when I do, I find out that Microsoft dropped native DVD support in Win 10. WTF Microsoft? Thank goodness for VLC.

It has been freaking warm, no, rather hot than normal in the last few days. We had temperature in the mid/upper 80's just a few days ago, a record. Friends in Asia said there were a lot of rain, much more rain than normal because it is a dry season over there right now. And of course, we had a lot of rain in CA and snow in NY.

Weird weather.

Google maps uses #ffffff for roads and #eaeaea for the background. WTF were they thinking?

There's some local "politician" who is running for office again next year and the news keeps showing him trash talking current politicians. He's kind of like Trump except not remotely funny and no charm. Just a plain angry guy.

Edit: And FML, I removed a redundant URL Redirect under a domain's DNS records and now the naked domain doesn't work. I can put the redirect back, but a different domain works fine without it. I'll wait a day to see if these mystical DNS records need time to update -- never taken this long before.

Had to fill out a pdf form today, and some of the lines weren't formified(or whatever you call it). I imported it into libreoffice draw, and filled in the blanks by hand. Worked ok, but more tedious than it should have been. Exported it to pdf. 6MB(whoops, should have compressed the photos, but not the biggest deal in the world).

Print the document, and... It has a colored background. wtf?! Dig through the settings, change a couple things that shouldn't do anything, and it still prints in color. Think about it for a bit... Could it be the colored background I use? I have it set to use a medium grey background so my eyes don't get raped by the screen. It doesn't affect spreadsheets, but... Change it to white, and everything prints ok. I guess I can see why it behaves that way on the graphics portion of the program, but it breaks consistency, and it lost me ~.5 hour of time. I might file a bug report. Gotta check extra close to make sure I'm not being a dumbass first.

My gmail appears to enjoy filtering out all my gmail to gmail test messages. I'm trying to forward my old gmail to new gmail so that's not great news.

And it looks like someone embedded one of my YouTube videos on a site somewhere because my page-views are double normal numbers but ad revenue isn't.

Suppose to warm up to above zero (wtf it's February!) soon and my snowblower is still in the shop. The snow that's in the driveway is going to get wet and heavy and make a huge mess. I might have to shovel it all by hand. I was not bothering, knowing that I can just use the snowblower once it's fixed.

I just can't believe that you don't have a John Deere mini-tractor with a plow attachment...

Anyway, turns out that I'm an idiot -- as usual. Years ago when I set my domain up, I followed the domain-host's instructions and added a redirect so the naked to www was handled by them. The web-host had me add a separate set of addresses to do the same thing but added a checkbox to turn it on and off. So, I checked the box. And my browser cache was messing with the results.

LOL. I mentioned this problem to someone else and they almost busted a nut laughing. I mean, I did too, but jeez. I'll just say I'm shopping for shoes for my little nephew if anyone looks at me sideways. :cryingcat:

Went to the store this morning to buy a Valentine's Day card and flowers for my wife. All the cards were gone except some spanish language ones, and the flowers were all picked over and crappy looking. :(
