Right, meant SNES. Speaking of which, I setup my old one at my sister's house for my nephews a while back, and my game saves were STILL there. How awesome is that. Hooked up the NES too, it's funny how the game graphics are so much more primitive than I remember, but I still think they were the best systems, I can't really say I like one more than the other though, they were both great.

Don't think there even is Craigslist for here. Closest I can find is Sudbury. Most people tend to go on Kijiji, or sadly, Myzer. Myzer is the original classifieds here but it's poorly managed - you can't even put a picture, they'll moderate your ass if you try. Most older folk only tend to know about that one.

Speaking of Ichinisan's Craigslist troubles, we nabbed this to consolidate a few boxes:

Looks like it might be too thick to safely fit on top of the media shelf. :(

An app I never use updated over 1 week ago. The changelog is HUGE, so I don't want to tap "Update" until I've read it (don't want to miss out on something cool I should have known was added).

They're probably going to release another update before I get a chance to read it.

Hit a $8000 Royal Flush.

More $ than i can enjoy spending in a weekend.
but not enuf $ to retire.

probably will blow $2500 of that (the amount i came to the casino with) and the rest into savings.
recklessly spending any more than that will not be enjoyable to me.

It has been raining on and off for the last few days (over a week now) so can't wash the vehicle or do any maint. task or yard work.

Went to a well know sporting store and tried to use a discount coupon but the cashier and the supervisor would not allowed it because the item I wanted was excluded (it was not stated in the coupon).

Money is tight at work so probably no pay increase for anyone this year, same as last.

More packages taking forever to make it across the border.

And there's a thing I want to buy and it's running low on stock but I'm over budget for the month. One more week...

Went to Walmart today to do some shopping and the price on the shelf wasn't the price on the item. Told them to keep it at the register and I'd find something else.

I went to an auction preview today. There is a gizmo that may/may not have a part inside that I want (a hyper-expensive expensive, like really expensive expensive* glass filter). The auctioneer won't let me open up the sealed housing to look. I confirmed the gizmo has a smaller filter but the big'un is the one I really want. The gizmo has no value to me other than the filters so now I have to decide if the smaller filter is worth bidding on and if I should raise my bid (gamble) on the possibility of the other filter being there. The manufacturer is no help as they sold gizmos with and without the filter under the same model number.

On a beautiful, breezy, sunny, 80 degree day, I have to walk almost a WHOLE MILE to the car dealership to pick up my car that was being repaired. For free. Because the alternator they installed in March died prematurely. Ford warranty covered the towing charges too.

Well at least you're covered by a warranty. On another note you do own a vehicle from the only domestic automaker to not take a government loan during the financial crisis of '08.

I consider that a positive.

Also, I scored like $500 by putting my retail-monkey beer money in Ford stock at $1.80 and selling a year later back in '08/'09. If I had had ATOT money at the time - and let it ride a while longer, but hey, I needed the money - I'd be VERY happy now.

I want to learn Dutch for shits and giggles but learning German is cheaper... They're both pretty not that widely used languages on the world scale when you go by total number of speakers, but I'm interested.

Interview tomorrow. If I get the job then I may at last be on track to upgrade to an unlocked Kaby Lake i5 with an overclocking motherboard and twice the ram I have presently. But should I fail, I will be doomed to continue on my dreary gaming existence as a PC peasant with my aging, non-overclockable i5 sandy, shackled by my h77m motherboard. The stakes are high indeed.

My point is that you should not need to do stuff like that. If they want to call it portable, the format should be fully open source.
I tried opening the pdf in word 2010 but all you get is gibberish. Also tried uploading to Google docs. Maybe Word 360 has better functionality for this sort of thing but microsoft will suck my ass before I go on a subscription model. F*** that f***ing bullshit. I'll learn to the Libre suite first. For my needs, it's more than enough.

Yeah, I've thought about that too. Especially since there are so many NL subbed vids out there. And the Dutch seem to really curate their collections. When you can't find some old tv show in any other version, you're likely to still find the Dutch sub still floating around.

Libre Office is all I use now for at home, in fact I prefer using it to modern office versions. That whole thing where MS got rid of the menu bar in Office apps is so retarded. It requires a bunch more clicks and searching before you can find something.

I just found out that the UK has photobooths that are for taking passport photos... Why don't we have these?

My company supplies free lunch. A different caterer for each week day. I really like the caterer we have on Mondays, but was told they might be dropped due to them being able to supply only one protein for the budget we've given them. Since it hasn't happened yet it's not really a problem, but it is a concern that it might become a problem one day.
