What first world problem did you have today?

it was a promo called McPick 2 for $2 which is being replaced by McPick 2 for $5, with the "better" sandwiches.

Had to settle for a FoF + 10piece nuggets for $5, which is not really a good value considering FoF's used to be $1 and 2x5 piece nuggets used to be $2.

My first world problem is I make a shitload of money yet here I am, debating the difference between spending $2 vs $1 at McD.

Give enough money to me to donate to charity that you feel justified comparing again!

I put a 5.1 system in my bedroom (along with a projector, because why not) & all of my RL friends (read: non-techie) think it's silly (and overkill). OTOH, I get to watch the Flash & Walking Dead on a 90" screen in glorious surround-sound before bed, so :awe:

On a tangent, my goal was to clone the somewhat expensive $2,000 Bose Cube system, but on a budget. Turns out $200 gets you a pretty good competitor. Writeup here:

I tried to read some dude's how-to on building a ghetto BOSE 5.1 setup, but he put all text and no pictures. WHAT THE FUCK, in 2016, ALL TEXT AND NO PICTURES!?

OK. But what does that have to do with McDonald's? :colbert:

Wanted to be eco-friendly and buy gel pen refills, but gel pen refills cost 99% as much as the pens. So I just bought a new pack of pens.

The exhaust for my Ducati is being held up in customs in Belgium... 🙁

Oh, and the scanner for my wife's computer doesn't work with the Windows 10 laptop I bought her recently so I had to order her a new scanner. 🙁 🙁 🙁

You know where I go for pens? Pen Island. You should check them out at their online store, just add .com. 🙂

I just throw them in the recycling bin when I'm done. They probably will go into the garbage when sorted but it makes me feel good about myself...

I would argue that the pen refills are less eco friendly because they only come 2 to a pack but I can get a 20 pack of pens.

I was actually eating a McDonalds hamburger (error 404 did not like, I'm a Whopper guy) & drinking a strawberry shake at the time, does that count? 😀

I like their chocolate shake. Vanilla is decent. But they put chunks of what I'm assuming to be strawberries in their strawberry shakes, which I did not like at all
