Buy locally grown pizza. Seriously, the best place around here is a local shop. Abdomino's isn't bad but the other 2 are so greasy you're not sure if they're throwing in a free lube job with the pie.
 
Brought an old monitor to work to use a second display, and it's kind of shitty looking. Dim, and the colors are off. It does what I need, but I wish it looked better.

Well, I've had bad pizza that falls outside of that saying. I only managed a few bites of it before deciding it was a lost cause. There was something really weird about the spices or seasoning mix in the sauce.
It's a shame, because it's really close to where I live, and it's allegedly good. It just didn't work out so well for me though.

A lot depends on where you live. Here in the NY metro area, we have pizza joints out the wazoo plus there is enough competition that anyplace that really sucks gets weeded out pretty quickly.

But in other areas, I can see how chain pizza might be better. They tend to be more consistent from location to location.

For example at one of my old jobs in NYC we had this one branch out in the boonies of Pennsylvania that we had to go to on occasion. They always wanted us to bring them bagels from NY since the local bagels sucked. I imagine it's probably a similar story with pizza.
 
can't decide if i should lease a new(er) car even though i know buying the used car would be the more financially responsible decision.

cig lighter is on all the time, even when engine is off.

I have both a gps + dash cam.
have to unplug everytime I leave the car and re-plug when i get back in the car.

else i risk running down the cheap oem 300 cca battery. 😱 🙁
plus it'll overwrite all the dashcam footage just sitting there overnight/all weekend.

sooooooo annoying.

but jesus the hit I'm going to take.
a 6 month old car depreciates that much?!

sigh.. thousands $$$ down the tube just because of a cig lighter.
yeah, I'm making 6 figures but i hate wasting $. Grand Negus would not approve

Rebooted my machine for a kernel update, and conky went to the wrong monitor. I kind of like it there, but it isn't what I'm used to.

Trading in a brand new car because he doesn't like it. Solid first-world problem. Winnar.

And I stayed up really late playing a 4 hour match of Company of Heroes 2 because the AI was being a bitch... I had to win. Have nothing to show for it, but ya....

Don't you just hate that? You'll get one batch that is super crunchy but still melts in your mouth. Then you'll get another batch that has the consistency of macaroons. Still tasty but not what you were expecting. I stopped ordering them. I might buy them in a store if I can see the expiration date but not otherwise.
 
Got a letter from the school board thanking me for my participation at the interview but that they're going with another candidate. 🙁 I'm grateful for getting a response, it just wasn't the one I was hoping for.

Damn. I really had my hopes up for this job after scoring high on the civil service exam, modernizing my resume, getting in touch with all my references, getting a new interview outfit, prepping for the most common questions etc. With things going sour fast at the non profit I'm at now and a total lack of heath care I'm starting to get really desperate for a new job.
