The city would lock me up and we replaced the insert with gas logs a few years back.

The $140 was ridiculously cheap, imo. That was around 10 cases of used paper. Half were mine, about a years worth. The other half were the bro's.

Iron Mountain was the company that was contracted to do the shredding at an old job. We'd dump all our crap into big grey bins and they'd wheel it out to their truck to shred.

I was set on just getting a pair of 5-bladed scissors to do all my shredding, but then I found this son of a bitch:

http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-12-Sheet-High-Security-Micro-Cut-Shredder/dp/B00D7H8XB6/

It's about $135 here but micro-cuts, pullout bin, and appears to have a somewhat reasonable continuous run-time. My current piece of shit is only rated to 2 minutes. I went through a thousand negative 2-star and under reviews, found out it probably did have a built-in overheat shutdown.

I asked a coworker to email me a spreadsheet. I received a screenshot of the spreadsheet. :\

My money on him not wanting to share his spreadsheet/calculations or you messing with a copy rather than thinking you wanted a screenshot -- serious, dealt with bullshit like that before.

$100 prime. I just might. I hate having cases of used paper stored in the back of the office. Wonder how loud it is?

Bought a new Blu-ray burner, LG WH14NS40. Damn thing wouldn't burn past 8GB and gave me IO issues. Caused the HDD light to stay lit and deleting files wouldn't disappear on the desktop. Tried to update the firmware and I got a checksum error. According to NewEgg that is a common issue. Total POS! Removed the drive and problems went away. Sent a RMA request to the seller this morning and haven't gotten a response.

This better not be a $50 paper weight! First time I ever bought a lemon on NewEgg. Little reluctant to buy LG again. 😡

^^^I got into the CD/DVD burner so late. Probably going to completely skip Blu-ray players -- only one I had was a PS3 I sold. So happy...

I'm watching Wings of Desire on a French chanel.. It's a German movie, but I can sort of read French, but now I can't surf while watching.

Brother finally decided to put the Sunshine movie (BD) into the PS3 last night. The behind-the-scenes picture-in-picture stuff appears and there's no way to turn it off. Turns out there was a mastering error on these discs and that happens on a lot of (mostly Sony) Blu-Ray players after the firmware was updated to add 3D support. Sites online imply that the disc exchange program ended years ago. OK, so I'll rip it with SlySoft AnyDVD HD and stream it to Apple TV or burn a movie-only copy.

Nope. SlySoft is shut down. Now I'll need to find a trustworthy source for the last released version of SlySoft tools.

If this sort of thing happens with a future movie, I won't be able to solve the problem myself.

^^^Fuq DVDs and Blurays. I collected them. While I managed to sell my Blurays recently for $5 or less a pop, I can't unload my DVDs for $2 a pop. Physical media is dead...

Need some packing boxes I can afford but maxed out my budget for this month again... a few more days left to new billing cycle.

I was playing clash of clans at work when my friend kept sending me google hangout messages and getting in my way during a war attack. Yes, I still 3 starred, thank goodness.

Got about a thousand or two pages to shred -- brought home a bunch of files from my last job -- and my shredder can't handle the load. I can afford to blow a hundred bucks on a heavy duty shredder, but it'd be used once and essentially dumped since I already have a light duty one for 99% of business.

Our OfficeMax does shredding as a service. Don't know the cost.

Please buy your media, sucker. :colbert:

Last night my phone flew out of my jacket pocket while I was celebrating Jeff Carter scoring a goal on Jeff Carter bobblehead night. The people in the row in front of me had to find my phone.
