I humped a dozen DVDs and two dozen books to that store to sell... They didn't want a single DVD, but they took most of my books. So, books I paid hundreds of dollars for, I got about $50 back. Boo ya, the price of knowledge!

And I found out that while it's relatively difficult to get a handgun in my country, I think I can relatively easily get civilian-ized Norinco (?) M14, Bushmaster ACR, TAR-21, and Type 97 "assault rifles" for "hunting" or "sporting" purposes. But an M16 or AK47 is much more difficult to get?

I canceled Amazon Prime for not meeting their obligations in offering the advertised benefits of the membership.

Aw, damnit. Decided to make one final trip to dump off a half dozen books that will likely sell for 10% of what I paid... That crap be heavy.

Yeah, I've talked to a couple of Canadians about their gun laws before. They seem odd to say the least.

From what I've read, which is little, it seems that they're more concerned about concealment than anything else.

That's funny because the M14 was good enough against the Viet Cong, but it appears to be in an easier to get category than a Glock. They'll probably end up making it harder to get eventually.

Got about a thousand or two pages to shred -- brought home a bunch of files from my last job -- and my shredder can't handle the load. I can afford to blow a hundred bucks on a heavy duty shredder, but it'd be used once and essentially dumped since I already have a light duty one for 99% of business.

Heard about the A-Wing nerf in Battlefront and logged in to play, only to be greeted with a 4GB patch. That's not the worst part. The worst part is that it only seems to be downloading at half a mb a second. :( Should be much faster on my 35mpbs connection. Now I won't get to play until tomorrow.

That works like crap. The paper smothers the coals unless you want to be there all night.

Local shred company took 700+lbs of paper off of my hands for $140
Whoa. I didn't know that there were still companies around that did that. How picky are they about the type of paper you bring them?

Forgot my nexus 6p charger at home while out on a 3 day trip. No one has a usb-c type charger with them that I can borrow :(
I'm hoping I can stretch the 6p for 3 days. That'll be an achievement in itself.

The internet has failed me... I can't find the manual for my shredder online. And it's still in production or for sale.

Edit: Been doing shredding research and have discovered what pieces of shit cheaper shredders are.

They came and got it. No idea how they make any $$. That equipment on the truck can't be cheap.

Just paper. No cardboard and I guess they wouldn't want paperclips/staples.

A little diesel should help it along. I save mine until winter, and burn it in the wood stove. A once a month outside burn should be manageable for a small business/individual, and not require undue babysitting.

The city would lock me up and we replaced the insert with gas logs a few years back.

The $140 was ridiculously cheap, imo. That was around 10 cases of used paper. Half were mine, about a years worth. The other half were the bro's.

I asked a coworker to email me a spreadsheet. I received a screenshot of the spreadsheet. :\

Couldn't find my glasses on the end table this morning... which was weird. So I dug out my contacts. (Which I hate wearing) and put those it, but had trouble getting the little blister-pack open. Now my eyes itch and I still can't find my glasses, but I have to go to work.

The irony is, after two years of not loosing my glasses, I ordered a new pair last week. So of course, NOW I lose 'em.
