This is what you call a REAL-world problem. :(

Hope he/she is ok!

well, it pretty much is a first world problem, because empathy and the desire to fix the problem.

It's not a third world issue at all because you just eat the dog in this situation.

LOL! I prefer to drop one in the privacy of my own apartment, but due to the shitty fucking toilet that can barely flush a couple of raisins, it's almost better to do it at work. Almost.

Let's see, first world problem for me today. Uh... I'm tired and want to go home right after work but I gotta do something and won't be home until several hours later. FML

Everything else is fine. It's always been slightly droopy compared to my right eye but since last night it's actually been noticeable. Soo idk.. hopefully it goes away. :\

Co worker's wife just had a baby and my other co worker is leaving this weekend for a conference. Looks like I'll be oncall again (just got off), and also covering both of them and trying to get my other work done. Going to be a busy next week.

Went for my annual (yeah, right) employment physical. Sat in the waiting room for an hour past the appointment time. Sat in the exam room for an hour waiting for the doctor. When I got fed up and went to the checkout folks reschedule the exam, the doctor was suddenly available. This place specializes in employment physicals so it's not like emergencies walk in, just very poor scheduling on their part.

Not really a first world problem as this is the US healthcare system I'm talking about.

I bought an overpriced made in China cabinet shelf and its got missing paint on the legs and a wire or two. And they packed it in some overly big box. Hope they didn't use lead paint...

can't decide if I want to spend the $300 price tag on the Maui Jim's I like, or instead be cheap and get the Ray Ban's. My Revo's are on their last legs. Going on 15 years now.... not a bad run!

Mauis... I have many Mauis. I had a pair of Ray Bans, the classic aviators. The Maui Jim pair I'm wearing is five years old now, still looks great, not a single big scratch because they were $350 and I 've kept them in the case the second they came off my face.

If you're not East Asian, just get Ray Ban Wayfarers though... they never go out of style, look great, and are pretty cheap -- East Asian + low nose bridge = no fit.

I tried the 58mm MJ Aviators in brown and they fit like a glove on my big ass head. The polarization was awesome as well. I tried the same size (58) RB's but they just didn't fit as good as the MJ's did. The lady tried adjusting the nose piece a bit but it didn't help. I definitely am getting aviators no matter which direction I go. My beef with the wayfarer's is that they tend to sit too far off your face and allow too much sun through. I'm wearing them to keep sun out, not to look fashionable.

Also, I agree with you on the case thing. I've kept my Revo's in the case everywhere I've gone. However over the years, they've seen a lot of shit and wear and tear is inevitable over the 15 years or so I've had them. I have a very faint scratch on my left lens that's barely noticeable unless the sun hits it a certain way. Just knowing it's there pisses me off, but whatever. I've tried many solutions, but nothing has worked. I figure it's time to bite the bullet.

Which Maui Jim model is it, specifically?

I've found that Mauis have larger (?) or more circular base-curves than Ray bans. I bought some 58mm Ray Bans, wore them a dozen times, stopped. Why? They were cheapos with no polarization or anti-reflective coating. And they weren't curved enough, so too much light got in through the sides -- seemed like I got direct reflections of the sun in my eye due to that.

However, I've also found that Mauis have wider nose bridge distances -- distance between lenses, usually 14mm to 20mm. I've got no nose bridge so that's a huge problem because it leaves a big, unshaded gap in my field of vision. Finally found my pair with a 14mm bridge.

Had to reorder a Wii U game because the case and cover insert was slightly damaged.

Now I have to drive to a store to return this one.

And it's not even an important game, just some crappy $10 filler for the 100% library.

That first world enough?

Didn't get the model # as I just randomly went in when I was in the city last weekend to kill some time and warm up. Mostly warm up :D

I know they were on the shelf for $299.99, so it had to be one of these:

Was a brown lens with bronze frame and polarized. I don't like the aviator frames that droop a ton which the 264 Mavericks look like they do. From that, I'd assume they were the 247 Cliffhouse model. Solid pair of shades.
