Bread machine didn't have a ciabatta recipe in the provided recipe book. Had to Google one instead. I hope it works.

Well, see, I totally expect gasoline, alcohol, and lighter fluid to dissolve things because they'll eff you up on a good day.

P.S. I misspelled "peel."

I got the lighter fluid idea from a used book dealer I knew. It'll take gummies off the page without ruining the book.

Speaking of books, total first-world problem, I have dozens of books I blew hundreds of dollars on that I'm having trouble getting rid of now. Luckily, the textbooks I spent $1000s of dollars on, I actually want to keep.

This is terrible, I have shit like "Create a Website" and an AutoCAD 2006 guide.

Same with a dozen or so DVDs.

I have an old encylopedia set including year books. It's all but worthless, but I can't bring myself to throw out books. If they burned well, I'd consider putting them in the stove, but they aren't even useful for that.

I stupidly decided to read some comments below some internet media content... Social Justice Warriors out in full force. Holy shit.

I might have to cancel my valentine's day reservations for this french seafood joint. so I hedged my bets and made reservations for Saturday too. Now I have to decide how much food we're going to get - tier 2 is too much, but is undoubtedly a better deal than tier 1. Tier 3 just seems excessive for 2 people.

Both look great. I prefer the one with uni but I like to keep my seafood simple.

I listed a dozen books on Craigslist for sale... OMFGBBQ. Looked up some of the prices on these books, what the fuq was I on? Some were $80 to $100 (textbooks) and I distinctly remember them sucking ass. No, these weren't for school, I had a book-buying phase where I wanted to learn on my own...

I don't need the money I wasted but the fact that I wasted it on such crap.

Not sure this is a first world problem but somehow I managed to cut myself with my own toe nails. I can be fairly clumsy so it's not surprising that kick myself from time to time. Somehow I tripped and kicked the back of one leg with the opposite foot. My nails are maybe 1/8th" long but apparently fairly sharp.

[insert 'I'll cut a bitch' joke]

Be careful, one of our cats slit his own leg to the bone.

That's impressive. I know their claws have a lot of penetrating power but I didn't know they were that sharp.

The 2 rescue cats I had were declawed. I don't really like the idea of declawing cats since they can't climb any more but it does have it's advantages for the owner.

I wish I had cut myself a little higher since the wound is on the Achilles tendon and as a result flexes a lot so I notice it.

Fam's going out of town for 4 days and I'm still too sick to put up the stripper pole. Worse yet, I have no desire for a beer.

The cat had a seizure (he had a brain injury as a newborn) and hooked one back leg with the claws of the other and kicked. The open cut looked like a chicken wing. He only weighed five pounds but still managed that much force.

Called Office Depot to find out of they sold BDXL disks. They don't. So I had to buy one on Amazon with a damn $6 shipping charge!

Now what kind of office supply store doesn't carry BDXL disks?

Poor kitty. I get the impression this happened a while ago so I assume he's doing better. :)

Sounds a bit like my day.

My coworker contacted me Tue asking to switch shifts so he could be off Sat. I had no plans so we settled in switching Fri/Sat. 10 minutes later, I got a call from my doctor asking me if I could come in the next day (Wed) instead of my previous appt date.

I contacted my coworker back right away explaining that switching Wed/Sat was better for me but if he had already made plans to be off Fri then we could still do that, but we would also need to switch Wed/Thu.

He accepted but never answered which of those two options he wanted, so I had to show up today just to see if he was there or not (he was). Luckily I live only a few minutes away.

I had to leave work to check my furnace number because it was out. Went back to work, they needed more info, so I had to leave again to get that before I could actually start work. but in all the back and forth, I missed free cupcakes that were left in the breakroom. I could've had free cupcakes. instead I had to make round trips. Ridiculous.

Cleaned the trash out of some cabinets and relined them properly with cardboard. After 5 hours, I was done, but I went to throw out one pack of powdered drink mix into the compost bin. Piece of shit wouldn't open, my hands were dirty, and I didn't want to get the scissors. It eventually opened when the entire bag ripped in half and all the powder/beads went all over the floor. Fuq you, you piece of shit plastic bag with no easy-open cut or ends.
