In a strictly legal sense, I wouldn't be allowed a walker. Imagine, having to get a walker license at the DMV, and who's behind the counter...Perk and Boomer.
When replacing my son's CPU, motherboard, and RAM today, I stupidly dropped a screw that fell into the PSU. I ended up having to remove it out of the case in order to get the screw out of it.
If that wasn't dumb enough, I didn't push down hard enough on one of the DDR4 modules (the side that has the tab that doesn't move anymore), and it was preventing the system from being able to see the NVMe drive or boot. Seriously, why couldn't they leave the tabs like they were pre DDR4, as you knew if the module was fully seated when you got a click on both sides?
Those two mistakes probably added a good hour to the build/testing time.
Surprisingly, neither of my kids have ever cared about PC building, or how they actually work. I've built computers ever since they were born, and I was always a little surprised that that neither one ever stopped to ask questions on anything to do with it.
Yeah, my kid's generation would rather watch a YouTube video with some "influencer" telling them about something, rather than to take the time to read an article to figure it out for themselves.
She can't work the tv remote which is why she has caregivers.
I doubt they appreciate you dropping your pants, bending over and yelling "Leroy Jenkins is in the house."
We got a new remote with our Apple TV earlier in the year. I kept helping the wife over and over with the remote at first, kindly and sympathetically, then a bit annoyingly. Finally, this summer, when she'd get stuck - I would say 'just press any button - you aren't going to break anything, it's just a remote'; she finally gave in an is fine now. YMMV.
