Don't have a dryer? Though in this heat using a dryer would feel counter intuitive lol. I still need to look into a way to recycle that heat in winter though, it's kind of a waste burning 4kw+ of power only to put the heat outside.
My dryer's almost dead. Might have a couple more drys in it in case of emergency(not sure what a wet clothes emergency would be), and I'm trying to just live without one. My preference is hanging outside anyway. I haven't used the dryer in a couple years.

The tree throws suckers out of the top that have weak attachment points. You also get pockets of rot. Topping is bad. With proper upkeep it can be maintained, but it's suboptimal. It would be better to get something more suitable for the location.

There are indoor dryer vents. Be careful - only use this if you have an electric dryer, otherwise you could die.

Not sure about the humidity, though.
That mught be something worth looking into, thanks. I need to add humidity in the winter anyways. Use that in the winter & vent outside in the summer.
Problem with that is it's going to smell like laundry. I've been in houses that use those and you can smell it right away. What you want is some kind of heat exchanger but you also want to filter the lint out very well or it will plug up the fins.
Laundry smell isn't the worst smell in the world. For the price it might be worth a try anyways.
I tried hanging out my laundry in the summer but i spent more time picking the bugs & whatnot out of them than it was worth.

you must have seen news of cars being pull out of water...

Happens here at least a couple of times each summer...some tourist drives onto our beaches when the tide is out. Parks their car and walks away...a couple of hours later, tide is in...car is submerged.

You would think they would have barriers to stop people from bringing their cars there though. You can't count on people to go move their cars before the tide comes in. I always found the tide an amazing thing, to think that it's the moon's gravity causing it. I know about it but never actually seen it in person. Must be kind of surreal to see dry areas suddenly be submerged in a short time.

We all do. Here. It's part of the Washington state highway system. Speed limit is 25 mph.

We have about 15 miles of drivable beach, although some sections are Closed to vehicles during the summer months.

Yeah I'd believe it. It goes up by what like 10 feet or so?
Depends on the day and tide. Each one is different.

some months, that looks more like a proper sine wave with negative low tide numbers.

Wtf... Way to pollute.

Add in the several dozen horses on the beach all day...there are a coupld of "ride a horse, $20/hr "corrals" every day...and horse shit all over the beach. They DO have a guy who drives along and shovels some of it up...but he doesn't do a great job.

I'm practically dead smack in the middle of Ontario. I'd say closest to seeing the ocean is Lake Huron while on vacation down south. It's not the ocean, but probably the closest thing I've seen as far as a very large body of water goes. Though I've seen some potholes here that are probably big enough to get their own tide on a full moon.

It's how stuff is done now. They ship it and by the time you get it there's already a bunch of patches. Even if it's a download they are not going to repackage it every time there is an update.

no, the installer only installed the executable... once I launch the program, it then downloads the resource files. Shouldn't the installer know this is a fresh install and download the resource files as well?

Sure...but all too often, you buy a disk and install the content...then there are a fuck-ton of updates/patches as well as any resource files that have to be downloaded.
That's what they're talking about.
