I went to the pharmacy for some gause tape for my toe. I ended up behind a dude who had a shopping cart overflowing with bags of discount halloween candy. He had to have 80 or 90 bags in there. It was absurd.

My neurologist got himself arrested in a prostitution sting today.

Granted, not so much MY problem, but I wonder how that will affect my next appointment.

My flight yoke wouldnt work with the Xbone. Not a big loss but it means I'll have to buy a new one eventually. Or just drop the Xbone and hope more and better stuff is available on Steam.

I have the CH Products pedals and Yoke that has the throttle quadrant built in. I paid 25 smackers for both at a yard sale. Best damn deal I ever came across in my LIFE! They both work very well. I play FSX.

I have seen a lot of crap with Saitek at my Flight Sim forum.

I've got an X45 and it's a little wonky. I'm tempted to pick up a Warthog, but I just don't have the time for Falcon 4 BMS anymore.

Trying to decide if I should pay a little more for an i7 or get the i5 Dell Latitude on eBay. I had to ask if they both had light up keys. I think it was just the i7 that had light up keys.

Ask him why he didn't tell you about this. Didn't he think you were good enough to join his ring? What kind of bullsh** is that? You want a doctor that takes every aspect of your wellness seriously and who doesn't need some sexual healing?

I had a special first world problem: First World America.

My grinding problem went away and I was relieved to stop using my night guard. Somehow it came back as a clenching problem.
I need to start using it again as of tonight but in the meantime I've developed some serious issues with my teeth and jaw and even gums. Gonna need major work done.
The American First World Problem is that my insurance covers fuck-all and the dentist is estimating 8800 dollars for all the work. Cant afford new insurance this coming year. Cant afford the work even with an uninsured discount from the doctor.

Seems one of my servers is acting up, it's the 2nd time this year (well 3rd if I count my recent UPS incident) that I need to force reboot it. Because I don't have a KVM console I have no way of knowing what state it's in when it craps out, I just know that I can't SSH into it. IPMI requires Java BS and is too much of a pain to get working in Linux so it's more or less useless. This server controls my home HVAC among under things so it's kind of important that it does not screw around like this with shutting off on it's own. I think that last power issue probably did it in.

Also who's bright idea was it that dmesg has no time stamps? It makes that logging practically useless if trying to troubleshoot something.

That seems to be so common, we have tons of screens at work because we are a NOC and we're constantly replacing TVs and monitors because half of it goes dim. It's like if they don't get good solder joints on the led strips or something.

Went to the Starbucks kiosk in the store. Wanted an eggnog latte. It was listed right there on the menu. Dude tells me they don't get the syrup or something until the 8th. I was like, why the hell is it even listed on the menu? So had to settle for gingerbread instead.

The temperature is up to the 80s today and will stay that way for this coming weekend. Too hot for November. Went to Walmart for 1/2 off candies and most of the good ones were long gone.

I think he was looking for a good time, not pimping.

Well it made the news. Apparently he was someone folks in the area would know - unlike the other 56 people arrested - so he gets singled out for news coverage.

BTW he's now free on $1000 bail.

My boss lost my stake bag, and I had to make another one. He needs to quit being a spaz, settle down, and concentrate on the job at hand instead of spazzing around, and trying to shave seconds that don't matter(costing time in the process).
