Holy f'ing hell I'm tired. It's only 11:53 AM and I was falling asleep at my desk a little bit ago, seriously struggling to keep my eyes open.

I'm gonna take a quick lunch break shortly and hopefully it'll wake me up. Oh billy. How in the poop am I going to get through the day like this? And I wanna go see a movie after work but jeez, if I'm this tired now there's no way I'll be able to sit through one without falling asleep. Goddamnit, and it ain't like I'm getting 4 hours of sleep a night. I probably am getting about 6 which is less than I need, but still. FML

Wednesday was always tired day for me. I just lagged, and it was consistent week to week. I haven't been like that in awhile, but that might be due to age, or doing wtf I want now. After work's over, I have few responsibilities, so I can sleep, or do whatever. I assume I don't feel Wednesdays due to that.

The only reason I did this on Monday is because my insurance won't cover these shots next year and I'd have to pay for them completely out of pocket.

I made the mistake of getting the Adult Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Td, Tdap) Vaccine
at the same time that I got the Pneumococcal (PCV 13) vaccine. My auto immune system must have said WTF? I've been sick for the past 3 days and have every side effect listed on the television commercials, including pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, joint pain, decreased appetite, injection site redness, injection site swelling (my shoulder looks like a red soft ball), limitation of arm movement, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills, and rash. I will never make THIS mistake again.

Could be lupus....or you're pregnant.

My wife will be really surprised, as will I if I turn out to be pregnant (55 year old male).
But think of all the money you'll get. Talk show guesting, a book, the made for tv movie... I'd hope for the pregnancy.

You should probably go for a sleep study - polysomnograph. I can see being tired on 6 hours sleep but I don't think you should be dead on your feet. Sleep apnea is pretty common and it's possible you wouldn't have any other clues to it being an issue.

Showed up 11 minutes late to the doctor's and had to reschedule.
Turned out the doctor had relocated the offices, so the locked door I found bore a map to the new location.
But the map was wrong.
And, as I found out when I called to reschedule - I didn't really have an appointment. Someone forgot to record it. I do now, though.
Oh, and I misread the appt. time on the card, so I was actually 41 minutes late to my non-existent appointment at a locked building.

Wow that's a piss off. Doctors are always late anyway, if you show up on time you end up waiting like half an hour.

I should probably look at getting a regular check up actually, I want to get blood work done too. Never done it before so probably a good idea for preventive maintenance.

It felt ridiculous.
I show up mildly concerned about the lateness, and the place is closed. I make a mental note of the new location then head home, knowing I'd be 1/2 hour late by the time I head over there. Later in the day, I call to reschedule and I'm informed there IS NO appointment today. Well, crap. So I make one for next Tuesday. Also they tell me the new location is Medical Plaza I, not Medical Plaza II the sign indicated. I think, man, what a mess. Then at home, I pull the appt. card out of the trash and find it was for 9:15am, not 9:45 as I read it. So I was crazy late, but it didn't matter.

Was it routine or was it to save your life?

You sir win the thread for the day.

There are these things called smart phone. When you receive an appointment email, it can add it to your calendar.

I have to go to a supper today that I don't really feel like going to. Not only do I hate driving at night but there's a snow storm out.

Driving with summer tires in the snow is kinda fun tbh though... I just hate driving at night because of all the assholes with HID lights.

A night with heavy rain or snow is the pits. I used to hate getting past by tractor trailers hauling ass in the snow

Oh highway driving in heavy rain or snow is even worse. Especially at night. Try to go slower in case there's a moose and everyone is practically trying to run you off the road. If you go 10 over the speed limit like they want you to do then you're slipping and sliding everywhere or hydroplaning if it's rain. Not fun.

Got back from the supper, was great once I was there, just did not feel like going originally, but it's one of those things where once you're there you still enjoy yourself.

I thought it was Wednesday all day long. I'm driving home happy that the week's half over, and thinking about what I did this week. Time's not adding up, so I pull my phone out, and check the date... @$#!

Feeling the same way.So confused today.
