Solitaire on Win 10 keeps offering opportunities to link up with my friends online. If I wanted human interaction, I wouldn't be playing solitaire, fer Christ's sake.

I been using Chrome plugins for my light games. Windows 10 is like Miley Cyrus.
A butt-ugly mess.

I fat fingered a button and shared something via EnigAndroid(an enigma machine program). While trying to figure out how to get rid of the sharing bullshit, I added my terminal to the "share" menu :^S

Smartphones have turned everyone into retards. Any question on how to do something gets an answer like "That's easy! Just install AdServer Pro, and push the screen like a monkey!" I don't want to install a (cr)app to do some trivial task. I want to know what the stupid program does, and do it myself :^S

In an effort to boost sales, smartphones have been reduced to the lowest common denominator. I miss the good old days of Palm Pilot and Windows Mobile.

Had to send my Beyer Dynamic T90 headphones in for repairs to the headphone band that I fucked up.

Not to mention they are like $450 now and I bought them close to $600 a while back. FTML.

Dreading the call to Comcast to demand they lower my Internet bill. They have never given me any promotional pricing ever. I was an inherited customer from the Adelphia days, which means I am the proverbial red-headed stepchild of their bastard son from an incestuous family. So when Monday rolls around I'll see what happens. I'm paying $60/mo for 25 Mbps service, which is pathetic compared to the minimum $40/mo for 45 Mbps the AT&T Fiber is offering (as well as $60/80-per month for 100/1000 Mbps). Target is to get them to drop the price from $60 to $40. Being a pessimist my prediction is they will tell me I am lying about the AT&T Fiber offering even though they, themselves, can type in my service address into the AT&T Fiber check-service website. I'll report back on Monday, but ...

Cancel on the spot if they don't budge. That means you'll be out of internet for a couple weeks, but threats only work if make good on them.

It's not so bad not having internet at home anyway. I haven't had wired service in awhile. I use my phone, and my machine at work. I've wanted to get internet, and even bought a modem, but the thought of dealing with comcast has kept me from getting service. I have verizon as an option also, but I've long boycotted them due to their jerking me around on a repair issue years ago.

The point is to get them to lower the price in order for me to keep them as a backup form of connectivity since 1.5 weeks ago I got AT&T Fiber installed (currently got the Gig service).

BTW, I have my own domains for personalized mailboxes through a web hosting company. So, no loss in the change over process.

Oh, that is first world. Two connections?! :^D

That puts you in better dealing position. "I don't need you anyway. I'm keeping your service as a trivial convenience. Lower the price, or fuck off"

How much are you paying in taxes and junk fees on the Gig service? I'm thinking about ordering it but I like to know the full price.

Are they as good as Ken claims? I'm looking for some nice headphones for work.
http://www.kenrockwell.com/audio/beyer/t90.htm

I absolutely love them and the way they sound - they put a smile on my face. Plus they are super comfy. I had the HD 600's and I haven't touched them since I got the T90's. I run them through a pretty nice DAC and amp and they sing.

Not sure what your work environment is like, but these are open backed headphones so lots of sound will leak out.

They are a steal at $420 on Amazon. When I bought them in 2015 they were $520.

I think the taxes and fees, which I have to pay 100% of even though I am getting 50% off of the service (I'm an employee) is $1.65. Employees get 50% off of the 100/1000 Mbps service. Now, I thought the att.com/fiber website said the regular pricing was $40/60/80 but what I am paying insinuates the Gig is regular $100. But I hear you about not trusting them. I am Joe Consumer when it comes to things like this and I will be trying to get Comcast to compete on retail/advertised pricing, not employee pricing.

That's not bad. I can deal with $1.65. I just didn't want something like $10+ junk fees.

$100 is the regular rate after the first 12 months. $80 is just 12 month promotional rate. I think I will signup for the 1000 Mbps service.

I started doing an electrical job I wanted to start way earlier and finish today. Figured I'd at least start by screwing in all the boxes, and MAYBE even running the home runs to the panel. At least to say I accomplished something today.

Realized half way through that for some reason I don't have enough electrical boxes and a few other supplies. I have a feeling I may have forgot a bag at Home Depot when I originally purchased the stuff. I figure I must have left at least $20 of stuff there. That's like 10 timmy's coffees!

Want to buy my new bike today but have to mount the bike rack to the trailer hitch and then drive all the way into town and try to find a parking spot. Should have bought it last week when I dropped off the donation bikes but it was a lot of money and I wanted to think about it plus I wanted to bring a friend to look at the other options and get his opinion but he bailed on me. He says he's sick but I think it's the 'I don't want to do' flu.

Comcast said they could offer a whopping $10/off my bill for 12 months. I told them that was a joke considering three people on my street in the past two weeks had gotten AT&T Fiber installed. It looks like I will go ahead and terminate the cable Internet after 12 years. What a joke of a company. Their idea of competing is to lie to themselves and assume there isn't any competition.

Oh, the local cable company just email me the latest bill for broadband, from $40 to $50 a month (nothing changed), just because. Now I will have to contact them and tell them I would leave if the price is not back to the old price.
