This is not my car but it's a pretty good representation of what my car looked like after I think it was 2 feet of snow fell in one day some years back. I was parked on the right hand side of a one way street so we took the brunt of the plows. It took me a while to shovel it out, only to not drive it anywhere so I wouldn't lose the spot. Luckily I live in a walkable city so that was fine. In some cities with lots of snow, in the rougher neighborhoods, when people dig a huge truckload of snow for their car, they'll leave the spot but mark it with things like cones, tables or chairs. And if you park there, they will fuck your car up somehow. Check it:

I only make about $500 something as cash back from my credit cards this month. I should be in the range of upper $800 per month. What a lazy bump that I was. :(

I woke up this morning to 1/2" of snow on the ground. HALF A FUCKING INCH OF SNOW!!! Will we survive this winter onslaught?

It is in the upper 70s/lower 80s right now. So freaking warm and no snow at all this winter.

LOL that sucks. Looks like that nasty wet snow too it's way heavier than normal snow. As an added bonus that stuff freezes overnight and turns into basically ice.

Our weather has been all over the place this year, I hate it. One day it's cold and snowing the next day it's hot and raining. RAIN, in freaking February! We even had some in January. What sorcery is this? It's not suppose to rain till at least May.

bought a NEW dell i3-4030 (Haswell) laptop for $189 back in Nov 2016.
thought I got a great deal.

today, I see Dell is selling 'Grade B' refurb i7-3520 (Ivy Bridge) laptops for $179.

Even tho Ivy bridge is 1 generation older than Haswell, it's an i7 which is 75% faster than a i3 Haswell according to benchmarks.

Sigh :(
just found out that the i7 came with 128gig ssd!

would have been perfect for me because I only use the laptop for travel, which isn't that often.
my old 2011 11.6" netbook with 120gig hd only has like 70gig used.
and I used it for 5yrs till I bought the i3.

so faster cpu, faster storage, and cheaper.
sigh...

I'm at the DMV to get my license restored. The wait time is atrocious. I'm not sure why because they just pull up your drivers license, see that the tickets are paid, then take your money.

What. The. Fuck. Is. The. Holdup?

We are going on our 10 year anniversary trip to the Caribbean in late March. Just got a jury summons yesterday for a date square in the middle of our trip. Dealing today with government workers trying to get my summons postponed. This on the day we are headed to the mountains for a quick 5 day family ski trip. Life throws a lot of lemons!

I'm using a crappy government online "tool" for changing some information. Problem is I can't tell if I'm entering information and changing it, or entering information to search and bring up my profile.

One of our ticketing tools here at work has a similar interface...one of the worst ever.

act like a minlenial and ignore it.
your vacation >> minor govt stuff

and even if they follow up on why you missed it:
"what jury duty? never got anything in the mail"

A perfect example of why monopolies are bad. If their paychecks were dependent on customers, and you had other places you could go, you'd see service improve dramatically.
