I was crossing a street and a funeral procession without a police escort making a long line of left turns cut me off until the light turned red -- and cut off all opposing traffic too.

Local laws do NOT give funerals without police escorts special treatment. There was no hearse in the section, no hazard lights, just a convoy with a tiny funeral card stuck on their hood.

Honest opinion? The US bidet adoption rate (outside of financial considerations), like many quirks possessed by this country, is due to our Puritan roots.

In general this country is extremely immature when it comes to anatomy, and the discussion there of. Directly spraying your balloon-tip with a stream of water can be seen as a homosexual act by the lesser evolved, or even discussing switching to a bidet setup isn't polite social conversation.
