My dad's a retired Navy Chief, he works for OfficeDepot now... my mom works for an independant Jeweler...

& I'm in the Navy... 🙂

My dad is a retired Air Force Master Seargent (join the Army in '46, switched to AF in '50).
He retired in '66, and then became a private investigator. He retired from that in '89.

My mom was a housewife.

As for my birth parents:

Mother-Drugged up skank

Mom and pops met in the army.

Moms is a RN
Dad is a biomedical technician, fixes pretty much any and all medical equipment at the hospitals where he workds

Dad is a Loan Banking Executive

Mom is now doing nothing except QVC / HSN 🙂 She quit her medical secretary/nurse job due to the doctor trying to own her. My dad is now trying to get her a job in his company (the company he works for not owns....they encourage that thing there).

Dad's a programmer (he's currently on contract, if anyone in the DFW area is hiring C/C++ programmers, he'd be interested, LMK! 🙂

My dad finds jobs for mentally handicapped people.

So if any of you need help finding a job, I can let him know. :Q

😛

Well, I think he should help his own family out before you offer his assistance to the group here. By the way, how is your job search going? Has your father had any luck in getting you placed? :Q :Q :Q :Q

Actually, yes. He introduced me to one of his neighbors who got me my current job as a mathematician for a slot machine manufacturer. I tend not to mention that much. 😛

Dad - Warehouse of a nuclear power plant. He has huge inventories and commonly has to throw stuff away because it's past it's shelf life. He's gotten to take some nice things home before. He has tons of gov't regulated paperwork to fill out and all sorts of fun stuff. He's been there the longest (at least 25 years) of anyone in the warehouse and his boss doesn't even know what his job really is.

Mom - Stay at home mom who sells Avon which she spends way too much unproductive time on IMHO. I'm trying to get her to move to excel for her paperwork instead of writing all the crap down.

my dad was the CEO of one of the biggest textile companies in Europe (a company that sells cotton to Armani, Gucci, etc.), then he retired 4 years ago. Since then, he bought very big gas station in a very populated area. He hates it, and I hate it too. It's such a fvcked up business especially when you do it in a extremely populated area. Everyone thinks gas stations are real cheesy, you just sit on your ass and money comes. Well it's not.

My mom usually helped our family organize financially, so she never did had a real job, however she is one of the reasons we are in a very relaxed financial situation.

Dad- Structural Engineer, works for Westinghouse at Savannah River Site in South Carolina.

Mom- Stay at home mom.

Mom - Secondary Teacher
Dad - Sales Rep & Quality Control Agent for a large contruction firm in Columbus
Bro1 - Owns one of the fastest growing construction & contracting firms in Columbus
Bro2 - Works for Bro1
Me - Network Admin for a local school district

Bio Mom - Ohio State University Extension Agent II (FCS, 4-H, HC, M2M, etc)
Bio Dad - bum farmer & twp road worker

My Mom - Sr. MSGT in Air force (Military MP)
Dad - Air Force reserves, works as a civilian on a military base (deals with all civilian hireing for the Air Force)
Step-dad - SR. MSGT in Air Force (Air Traffic Controller)
Step-mom - Air Force Reserves, stay at home mom, but currently activated in CA.

Dad was a civel engineer for WSDOT but was killed on the job.
Mom was a bookkeeper for the local univeristy but then started having kids so she stayed home.
Step dad was a mechanical engineer for Boeing then worked as an engineer for facilities management at the local university.
Older brother is going to be a fuel cell engineer.
Sister is going to be a psychologist.
Younger brother is going to be an accountant.
I'm going to be a teacher and get $#!& for it every time one of them comes to visit and rolls up in a Beemer. 😛 Oh well.
