Mom's a nurse.
Dad's a bum and nowhere to be found, but I think he used to be a roofer so he might still do that.

Dad is a Loan Banking Executive

Mom is now doing nothing except QVC / HSN :) She quit her medical secretary/nurse job due to the doctor trying to own her. My dad is now trying to get her a job in his company (the company he works for not owns....they encourage that thing there).

So if any of you need help finding a job, I can let him know. :Q

:p

Well, I think he should help his own family out before you offer his assistance to the group here. By the way, how is your job search going? Has your father had any luck in getting you placed? :Q :Q :Q :Q

Actually, yes. He introduced me to one of his neighbors who got me my current job as a mathematician for a slot machine manufacturer. I tend not to mention that much. :p

Dad - Warehouse of a nuclear power plant. He has huge inventories and commonly has to throw stuff away because it's past it's shelf life. He's gotten to take some nice things home before. He has tons of gov't regulated paperwork to fill out and all sorts of fun stuff. He's been there the longest (at least 25 years) of anyone in the warehouse and his boss doesn't even know what his job really is.

Mom - Stay at home mom who sells Avon which she spends way too much unproductive time on IMHO. I'm trying to get her to move to excel for her paperwork instead of writing all the crap down.

my dad was the CEO of one of the biggest textile companies in Europe (a company that sells cotton to Armani, Gucci, etc.), then he retired 4 years ago. Since then, he bought very big gas station in a very populated area. He hates it, and I hate it too. It's such a fvcked up business especially when you do it in a extremely populated area. Everyone thinks gas stations are real cheesy, you just sit on your ass and money comes. Well it's not.

My mom usually helped our family organize financially, so she never did had a real job, however she is one of the reasons we are in a very relaxed financial situation.
