My father decorates a wall in the Los Angeles National Veteran's Cemetery mausoleum.

My mother is retired, and living in the house I grew up in. She spends her time traveling to jazz festivals and to meet with online senior groups.

My dad was a Marine for 25 yrs and the State Police Chief for 15. My mom was a civil rights activist and owned a firewood business, her customers were mostly the ultra-rich at Lake Tahoe (rock and movie stars, mostly lame).

I will add my brother since we are going more in to all immediate family.....

CTO for Shreve.Net (I believe the largest private ISP in the Tex-Ark-LA area), and Owner of Netjam LLC, a growing vendor of used Cisco Networking gear, specializing in student labs and ATM (I work for them). He also did the whole Cisco tract (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE + specialities) in one year. He doesn't even have to see the stuff if it's Cisco and/or UNIX he can solve it in his head :)

My mom is a teacher in Las Vegas. Additionally, she also works at special events at one of the local casinos there.

My dad also was a teacher until he retired a few years ago.

My mother is a community liaison to local high schools for the East Valley Institute of Technology. The pay sucks and so do the benefits. Anyway, last I knew of my father he was a long-haul trucker.
