Secularism?

Do you support a combination of church and state?

Religion served its purpose to pull us out of the depths of animalistic behavior - a sort of "egg tooth" for humanity. An egg tooth normally falls off. This one is quite persistent, and has now stood in the way of progress for a thousand years. It's time to let it fall away, and let us embrace the future.

Government bloat. The form of democracy practiced in most countries makes it far too easy to add new bad laws and far too difficult to remove and clean-up the law system. Therefore over time all governments become more bloated and less efficient without the possibility of being fixed under their own system. Eventually this can only lead to further revolutions, with more bloodshed.

I'd have to say entitlement mentality, it's pushing a socialism mindset and leading to a lack of leadership and work ethic.

What's wrong with liberalism? :<

You didn't get the memo? FDR, Truman and Kennedy were all communists!
Plus real conservatism died with Barry Goldwater and William H Buckley

Which leaves us with conservatives who vote for Republicans that no longer represent conservative government in any form. It's a great system - most Republicans either vote based on faith or based on the delusional belief that the Republican politicians are conservative.

Yeah, socialism is so horrible... I wonder why the Euro is kicking the dollar's ass and why every European can afford health care and a higher average quality of living.

Capitalism is a great system for a lot of things. It's too bad we don't actually practice it most of the time; I can't count how many times a Republican has supported a bonehead move like allowing giving monopolizing contracts to telecoms and giving free corporate bailouts.
