Everyone expecting excessive pay for doing manual labor. It is causing inflation to drive itself ten fold. Looking at you union workers, $90,000 a year to assemble axels is a lie.

Entitlement programs such as SS, Medicare/caid, etc. If we don't do anything about them, there will be grave consequenses.

We're too eager to legislate ourselves into slavery. It's no wonder people are confused though because it's the same people who are always trumpeting about "Freedom ain't Free" and all those other bumper sticker cliches that turn around and vote every frivolous little law into being.

The loss of the "American Dream."

Now it's all Big Government and everyone expecting someone else to take care of them.

I believe religion has been and still is one of the biggest crisis in human history. Nothing else has caused so much war, pain, persecution and suffering. Religion had it's place 1500-2000 years ago, now it does not.

That and stupid people. (especially those who perpetuate religion)

Wow...only 1?

Hmm...
Illegal immigration
The housing/credit crisis
Oil prices
George W. Bush
Barrack H. Obama
Sidney McSame

The list is long...longer than it should be.

If I had to pick one single item, it'd be a toss-up between the housing/credit crisis and oil prices...but then again, both of those are Bush's fault, ;) so maybe that'd be the right choice...:D

Agreed. The economy would be better than it is if people didn't keep crying wolf and causing people not to spend money.

Because I was supposed to pay $1 million for a 2 bedroom ranch?

Or because a 100% increase in gas prices in 2 years shouldn't cause me to change my spending habits?

How stupid are you? People stopped spending money because they stopped having money to spend.
