What do you rub on your armpits?

My wife got me a new type of deodorant the other day. After I began using it I noticed that I had begun to sweat like crazy at the gym. So when I looked at the stick a couple of nights ago, I found out that it was deodorant only - no antiperspirant.

My world was rocked.

i had to stop using antiperspirant
i have used deodorant only for about five years

maybe it is an age thing

LOL i missed the what in the sentence and thought you were asking, do you rub on your armpits? I was like uhh gross?

Just curious - what adverse affects does antiperspirant cause on an old codger?

Funny armpit story. The other night me and the gf were laying in bed falling a sleep, it's pitch black. I have my hands behind my head exposing my pits. She then leans over to give me a kiss on the mouth, but instead kisses my pits unable to aim for my face.

antipersp is gross and unnatural.

how is it gross?

People sweat for a reason. Not sweating just doesn't seem right. I realize I'm in the minority on this one...

Again, there is no physical harm from slowing the rate of perspiration in the armpits. None.

Why not be nice to those around you and try not stinking?

No harm in slowing hte persp in the armpits, since I'm sure the body just makes up for it by spreading the persp throughout the body to parts of the body that are more easily aired out, but you always get those cancerphobes pointing at the aluminum somethingorother active ingredient.

If you exercise, or are hot for any signifigant amount of time, deodorant is simply not enough for the typical guy. YOU may not smell it, but others will.

Plus, who wants big wet stains in the pits of their shirt?

I do not stink, even when exercising. You aren't going to change my opinion on this.
