Me too I've tried all kinds, but I just can't use 'em. I use Toms deodorant only thing that doesn't give me a rash.

I tried Tom's deodorant and liked it... much better on the skin, but it didn't last as long and I found myself stinking after about 8 hours. :(

only deodorant here... anti-persp is weird. You're just going to sweat equal or more amounts from other places if you use it.... and sweat smells like sweat whether its from ur pits or from ur forehead neck arms whatever.

wear a t-shirt == no pit stains

Wrong.

Perspiration by itself is basically odorless. It is the bacteria and odors coming from other sources that are the real culprits.

The reason underarm and foot sweat stinks so bad is neither is allowed to dry. Both are confined and bacteria are allowed to flurish. This makes for a quick and rapid funk. In the case of feet and hands, they have much more oily sweat and this oil is loved by bacteria. Your hands will smell just like your feet if you confine them all day.

Yes, sweat is sweat, but not all areas of the body dry as quickly and some parts of the body sweat more often, and with different compositions.. The slower the area dries and the more oily it is, the more likely it is to get stinky with bacteria.

Old Spice Red Zone

i use the same but its also an antiperspirant

I think that's the point of Red Zone (I don't think there is a Red Zone that isn't anti persp)

Anyways, Red Zone is definitely FTW.

antipersp is gross and unnatural.

how is it gross?

People sweat for a reason. Not sweating just doesn't seem right. I realize I'm in the minority on this one...

armpit sweat isn't attractive because it shows up and usually doesn't go away (because of its position). You still sweat elsewhere to control body heat, but because it is far more exposed and flat it evaporates far more easily (and much faster) and thus is a much better scenario to have.

Again, there is no physical harm from slowing the rate of perspiration in the armpits. None.

Why not be nice to those around you and try not stinking?

"No physical harm" ya right lookup "hidradenitis suppurativa" I've had to live with that stuff for 5 years of my live and counting with random flare ups. Easiest way to stop flare ups is to avoid the anti-perspirants constantly, using talcum powder instead to just absorb the sweat.

Hell most of the ingedients in a anti-perspirant aren't very healthy. Aluminum Oxicide was it?

I used Sure for a bunch of time and eventually made this condition much worse, had to use no products for a month till the surgery scar healed. Not even hypo-allergenic anti-perspirants worked. At the end of the deal Johnsons non-perfumed talcum powder does the trick and lasts longer than any of the stuff I used before. Cheaper too.

Moral of the story stopping pores from dumping out sweat isn't healthy (causes the liquid to sit there breeding bacteria) and in some cases can lead to horrendously painful boils. Ever been punched in the armpit? Imagine that everyday with a bad flare up. So you folks have a good one. ^^
