i just cleaned it up and got fid of Outlook/Oexpress/Picasa/foobar/AIM that was cluttering it up

Every single app that I commonly use. You can load your apps in 2 clicks = much more efficient than the stupid start menu.

Keeps the desktop clear too.

I only have a couple of other icons on the desktop. Anything else I can go to Start-->Programs for.
