That's it.

same, everythig else is an icon on my ObjectDock placed at the top of my screen. Only icons on my desktop are recycle bin, some folders and a text document...

Every single app that I commonly use. You can load your apps in 2 clicks = much more efficient than the stupid start menu.
Keeps the desktop clear too.
Me too! I even have them in subfolders...

Do you like my sub-folders?

I'm not so keen on the idea of subfolders, to me it defeats the object and you might as well just use the regular start menu since that's basically what it is. Mine simply is a list of my commonly used apps organised alphbetically so it's a 1.5 second job picking any of my top ~20 apps.

Haven't got all my apps in the atm as I just haven't been bothered to sort it out yet, but you get the idea.

You like my background?

Show Desktop, Firefox, Thunderbird, Windows Explorer. Programs that I open and close throughout the day. Things that I start and leave running (AIM and Winamp, for example) are on the first level of my start menu. No point in cluttering up the quick launch bar with shortcuts for those types of things.
