I'm not mocking anyone for their breakfast choices, aside from the people on liquid diets. 😛
I'd love to hear what exactly is wrong with the shake that I posted. Amaze me with your knowledge and maybe I'll switch.

a bowl of cereal with milk. Sometimes a poptart if I don't even have enough time for cereal. Sometimes a sausage egg and cheese sandwich if I have a lot of time and a craving for something greasy. I try to eat mostly healthy, but not at the expense of taste or happiness. I take food seriously and would probably kill myself if forced to eat half the concoctions in here every day for a month. 🙂
Eggs only cook so fast, nothing can be done about that. I suppose I could hard boil eggs the night before and leave them in the fridge over neat, but thats not exactly appetizing.
Well, when you burn thousands and thousands of calories every week, you really don't need to count calories do you? I do make sure to get lots of protein later on in the day though, I just don't have time to be a nutritionist in the mornings on work days.ROFL, I love how all the runners in this thread are answering "cereal and milk", and we're not really overly concerned about our food. Too busy getting out there to run haha .
OK, if you want to see how easy it is to cook eggs, here's my system.
I use the same curved pan every morning, it's teflon but I would like cast iron. I have a cosmetics squirt bottle of almond oil I use for cooking, any kind of oil would do. A lot of times I don't even wash the pan, I just wipe it with a paper towel and am done.
I turn the burner on and squirt 5 drops of oil in the pan.
I grab my eggs, whip 3 up in a bowl. Let the pan heat for a minute while I run around doing other things. Pick up pan, run the oil around the bottom of it now that it's hot. Pour eggs in.
I usually can multitask while the eggs cook, takes like 3 minutes and I fold the omelet. Another 3 and I flip it, and the it's done in 7 minutes. But I have only spent one because I have other things to do like get dressed, pack my lunch, etc.
When I eat my eggs, if I'm in a rush, I cut the omelet into little chunks of egg with my fork so it cools fast.
All told, it takes about 1 minute of effort, 10 total minutes of time. And you can put whatever you want in omelets to make them tasty.
Eggs are incredible. It's not just about calories, carbs, protein and fat. There is just loads of nutritional benefit to them. Try cooking them for breakfast every day for 2 weeks. Once you have it down, you won't see what the problem is.
You mentioned eggs?

Steak is always in order.Today's breakfast, 10oz of ribeye 🙂
Jesus Christ. Moderation, man. I hope that's not serious. Even on keto, that's intense.
Oh, and today's breakfast:
12oz 2% milk
1 banana
5oz mixed berries
1.5 scoops ON Whey (Strawberry and Banana)
2 Eggs
4oz Dulce de Leche Eggnog (to replenish glycogen, y'know? Haha)
how about :
one banana
one carrot
three english muffins with sugarless syrup or all-natural jam (fructose only)
ON whey protein with some creatine mixed in.
Has anyone tried cooking eggs & bacon on the weekend and then re-heating in the morning? Bacon re-heats well, but I'm not sure if the eggs get soggy when re-heated.
I'm going to try it, then I can bring breakfast to work and eat when I get there. I'd rather just have a protein shake when I first get up, and not eat solid food until I get to work about 2.5 hours later.
