I've been on a 2 piece of wheat toast + jam and 2 scrambled eggs + salsa kick the last 2 work weeks. I'd previously forgone breakfast during the week; not sure how I survived, because I now feel more alert and energized in the early hours. We've been brunching pretty damn hard on the weekends.

I did not eat today.

Yesterday I attempted to make my grandfather's recipe for Swedish pancakes (he's no longer around to make them, and my mom is the only other person in the family who has mastered them, but she lives out of state 250 miles away.)

I don't have the right pan or spatula to do them justice, so we had "Swedish pancake fragments" instead of Swedish pancakes. They were delicious however.
