Messed with it for a bit and it seemed stable at 106, but only got me 20 pts on cinebench so I dialed it back...I am THRILLED with the added performance and I cannot thank you enough!

I can not increase anything above 105mhz, i get overclocking failed after multiple restarts. What turbo speed you're getting on AVX2 load ?
I get x30. your 2699v3 has 25W higher TDP than my 2686v3. These both CPUs cant score same. Your CPU should get x36 on 12 cores and x33-x34 on all core.

How do I test a AVX2 load?

Ran the bench....attached...and ran the stress test and the warmest core was 48c...insane!

Btw, I am also using the Asus Hyper M.2 x16 card and windows software raid 0 those 4 samsung drives. If anyone interested in getting this bios let me know. It's been modded to add BiFurcation selection w/ x4x4x4x4 to slot 5 of the PCI-E.

@foureight84 , can I get this bios with bifurcation for ASUS Z10PE-D8 WS please. I am trying to get a Asus Hyper m.2 x16 card. Thanks in advance.

Hey @topmysteries5 , I did not...I did tighten the RAM timings a bit and it's running beautifully...Which efi files would you recommend? I assumed the one you sent was a rebranded version on the V3 efi I saw in this forum...right?

yes, it was rebranded version (rebranded by me) :):cool::D. BTW with that .efi i made you learn how to do it step by step in easy way without confusing. you should try 80 20 efi ? it should boost your AVX2 clocks.
the one I gave you was 70 50 efi.
If your try anything lower then your boost speed will only reduce, not increase. Because first number means vcore offset and 2nd means offset for avx2.

Ok sweet...would you happen to have that??? the 80 20 efi? I don't remember seeing that but maybe I need to keep reading through these posts...Would the 80 20 efi effect my CB score? or just AVX2?

Yes, it will change your CB score. Then why your CPU scores same as mine ? Its because your CPU is also running at x30 with AVX2 load as my CPU. Your CPU should run atleast x32 with AVX2 and x34 with normal load.
To replace this efi with your current one, you have to mount your OS drive's hidden 100MB EFI partition, Then copy and replace .efi file inside boot folder with this efi.
After rebooting you'll see changes.
This small boost due to 145W TDP makes e5 2699v3 around 2 times expensive than e5 2686v3 on aliexpress.

or you can also repeat all steps and replace efi file inside usb with this one. you must also use exact name of this efi file in shell in place of older name.

My efi partition has 2 efi files...yours and a bootx64...should I delete that one and just have 1? And do I need to rename the 80 20 to your original filename?

You'll have to rename it with original file name, (to save your lots of time)
or you can also restart all process from step 1 and use your own custom name as .efi
DONT delete bootx64.efi.

Strange when I rename it to the same and replace it I lose the boost...I decided to go back into shell and use the new file renamed the same as the old one and it says topmysteries5_boost is not an image...is there something different about that new file?

I think you're doing mistake somewhere, I'm using that same efi. It is working for me, you can see vcore offset in hwinfo (attached screenshot)

hmmmm...not sure...just went through the shell process with the first file you sent and it worked fine...this new one says it's not an image...

what you need to do is, use the first file which I gave, then mount EFI of your OS drive and replace first .efi with v3_80_20.efi. Then rename replaced efi file with "topmysteries5_boost.efi".
To edit this custom rename "topmysteries5_boost.efi", you need to repeat all steps again and use your own custom renamed efi file in shell

@topmysteries5 I tried simply renaming it and replacing the file on the EFI partition but I lost boost. So I went through shell and it said that 2nd file wasn't an image...Renamed and not renamed...then I tried the original file and it worked fine...Not sure...I would love to see it work though!

Stress testing on AIDA64 maxes at 60c, so I'm sure this is capable of more.

@jebidia,
check #738 on page-30, It seems your 2699 can work @ x33 multiplier on high loads. (105x33 = 3465Mhz)
also check #504 on page-21

I got x31 with E5 2686v3 on heavy AVX2 load. Earlier maximum x30 was possible on this CPU. I reduced uncore / cache multiplier to x12 (lowest).
105x31 = 3255Mhz

Is there any way to set voltage offset for uncore ?
I think reducing uncore power can increase multiplier on cpus like e5 2686v3.

@topmysteries5 very interesting...so the bios you gave me removed the microcode and the rest assigned new variables via EFI? So how would I get back to just the bios with no microcode? Delete some things from the EFI folder?
