what car brand would you NEVER even consider buying?

None. I'd consider any, but, I'm prejudiced to FORD, GM, and Korean Manuf.s (not in that order). If the price was right, and the warranty was exceptional I'd consider any of them.

I'm inclined to buy Toyota or Lexus next time around.

 
HONDA/ACURA. I have driven Integra's, Civics, Accords,and even an NSX(though I would buy one of those) I don't like having to rev my engine to 7K to feel the power.
 
Kia - all POS
FORD - Same
Chevy - Ditto, and they are ugly especailly that vett
Ferrari - some of teh ugliest cars ever made
lamborgini - same reason as ferrari
Anything Japenese
BUICK i dont wanna drive a freekin barckalounger!!!

Hundi

Range/Land Rover
Buick

Rolls/Bentley (Like I could afford it)
French cars (Nissan doesn't count)

so.. you would get a mini, but you wouldn't get an Aston Martin. Hm... if the thread title was "would you ever consider buying an Aston Martin (if you had the money of course) i'm sure everybody would say YES. (if you were bill gates, would you buy an Aston Martin)
 
WOW! some very very interesting response in here. i guess we all have different tastes.. some mentioned some high end brands they wouldn't even consider?? yet would consider economy brands?? strange indeed.

there are some pretty nice cars from some of the lists.. one that struck me was Honda?? I would GLADLY take the S2000 or the NSX or even the Integra type R anyday. some of you even said Anything Italian?? I think italian cars are among the sexiest in the world. oh welll.. to each his own.

Just like my sister. Own a Toyota... will get a BMW. Lucky her. Well I guess as long as I "support" her. Maybe I can drive it.

I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet....GEO!!!!! I hate GEO when you see someone driving a geo you know they're going to drive slow as crap cause 1. their car can't handle it and 2. they bought their car for good gas mileage and aren't going to push it because they're going to get crappy gas mielage

But more likely a BMW 330Xi 4 door.
I will however try and presuade her into a 540i Manual 😀
 
As much as I admire excellence I cannot bring myself to buy a foreign car.

As a union member in Detroit I am constantly extolling the virtues of foreign cars, yet I can't seem to pull the trigger.



BTW-I'm picking up a 2003 Trailbazer tomorrow(can't beat employee discount + 0% for 5 years).
 
only brand i would not get is buick or GM car.

all the others i would get if the price was right.

the hyundia and Kia arent that bad. they have improved a lot over the last few years. For the cost they are not to bad. i know a someone with a hyundia that is a crappy. but she does not take care of it. i dont think she has gotten more then 4 oil changes (its at 98k miles) besides when her tranny was repaird. though i dont think they change the oil for that. the reason i know of 4 is i did them for her.

A buddy of mine has a kia sportage at 89k miles and has had no problems. I have talked to people who say they are good cars. But IF you buy one plan on keeping it until it dies. the resale value on either is really bad.
