IE most of the time.

why do you use IE? give firefox a try, and I'm sure you won't go back to IE.

FF >> IE

I already did. I didn't like it. IE is faster and overall more convenient.

Can you extend on the comment of your post. I can think of the following reasons why Firefox is better than IE out of the top of my head:

security - never had a problem with IE
better bookmark management - why is it better? IE bookmarks work perfect
extensions/building by blocks process - i prefer a clean & fast browser ... extensions slow it down.
themes - ehh again, i prefer a clean browser, no need for themes
google search bar integrated - got google on my desktop
cookie manager - never needed it
gives you power - not really

plus, IE is integrated into Windows and loads way faster than Firefox.

I use IE and Outlook 2003. I don't really care about any of the improvements Mozilla/Firefox have to offer. I keep my system patched, I avoid suspicious websites. And Firefox fanboys piss me off. Browser choice is just that, a choice. why don't you do something more constructive like convince vegans that meat is good for you.

Some sites also don't like Firefox, so you have to use IE. It's a pain 🙁
I wish everything worked with Firefox, but there's the occasional switch to IE which some people might not like.

That's not Firefox's fault, IE doesn't follow web standards, so some websites don't follow standards thus, don't work with firefox. For example, IE doesn't support png, CSS, and other things.

 😀

Actually I think I-want-to-be-different people piss me off in general... not that all FF users are in that category.

I was a bit 😕 on that one as well.

It supports CSS in a broken sort of way. Esp CSS2 and 3. I hate getting a site that renders perfect under Firefox and Safari then loading it under IE to find it's broken. MS update the POS already. It's been over three years.

for the people who said that have tried FF, and didn't stick with it, why didn't you keep using firefox? did you tried extensions in firefox?

it's not like firefox is known to be any percentage more secure. it's simply the fact nobody has bothered yet. I've been using IE all my life (and kept up with patching) and have never been hit with anything. Same concept... nobody has hit me via open-vulnerabilities, I'm safe. Nobody has hit FF, you're safe.

I guess you've never heard of false sense of security ...

heh nice ripoff from GM commercials... though it's true... I couldn't get accustomed to FF in the many months I've tried. Personally the benefits for me using FF don't outweigh the inconvenience.
