However, there are a number of websites (javascript heavy or like Amazon's seller account) that do not work well or at all with Firefox, so I have to re-open the everything in IE. I know its not FF fault, but it is still a shame.

Don't know if you've seen it, but there is an extension available that makes it easier to switch over to IE when you're forced to.

That's actually one of the most important extensions in FireFox, still Firefox remains my primary browser because I can't live without some of those extensions and their functionality.
