EMC VNXe SAN and VMware implementation, EMC VNX5300 demo in our lab, upgrade from VMware Inf 3.5 to vSphere 4.1 for another client, EMC NS-480 install at a hospital, and a VMware rebuild plus SAN migration from a CX3-20c to a Netapp FAS3210.

Working on an independent project. I'm doing an exercise in information architecture and user experience, which will hopefully help me hone my skills and break into UX/IA Design.

Now we have to demand pics of this...(the class, not the planning process)

No pics, don't be ridiculous.

But the second class I did was mommies and preschool daughters - the most adorable thing ever. Those little girls trying to wiggle was so incredibly cute!

Working on the combined license application for Fermi 3 nuclear power plant in SE Michigan, which I've been doing full time for a year and the two summers before that.

Specifically, the last few weeks I've been working on preparing and submitting our site-specific soil-structure interaction analysis, which demonstrates the seismic adequacy of the plant. Also, preparing for a series of meetings with the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS), the first of which was this morning.

Group project for Communications 110.
5 minutes each, my section involves the effect of modern technology on interpersonal communications.
Also I think I have the intro as well.

I am gonna tell the story of that computer in the 60's with the scripts which sounded like regular conversations and eventually people got emotionally attached to it.

I do a little work at a time, take a break, little more work.
New 30 Rock on in 5 minutes so I think I will take a half hour break.

I'm about to leave to teach a couple of belly dancing classes - last minute replacement. I'm scribbling down some class plans and grabbing some appropriate clothing.

Wow I'm surprised you would post that on ATOT. Having been here as long as you have. 😀

Watching Doctor Who, running down the battery on my Playbook intentionally (first time since buying last week) before charging, and minor surfing.

Hardware checkout for the F-35 deployable mission rehearsal trainer: moving the prototypes through hardware - software integration. Developing relationships with software engineering and program leads.

Performing lab manager duties.
Assuming hardware lead duties (preparing for next LRIP).
Assumes minor technician duties as the engineer who drew the wire list drawings.

Biggest personal fish to fry are video cables going to a special display which doesn't perform equalization particularly well. I have a working solution in place to test for a week.

Fun stuff =)

As part of your job or is this a house of yours?

For an old(literally and figuratively) friend of mine. It's a crapload of work, and very slooooow going, but on the bright side, I can look forward to covering it up again :^D :^/
