Man, you are my hero!

You're showing a ridiculous amount of commitment and willpower. An addiction to food is as real as an addiction to anything else.

Keep up the great work!

Except for the fact that most other addicitons you can do without.

BTW, a while ago in this thread I posted that your story inspired me to get off my ass and in the gym... I was getting frustrated but finally broke my weight plateau. I'm 215 now, down from 240. It's a good feeling, would love to lose another 20!!!

ouch =( yoyoing is so bad...I know- I've done it.
Good to hear you're back on the diet- it might be a bit harder to lose the weight than it was before but stick with it- imagine how you'll feel 100+ lbs lighter =)

Sounds like he gave up =/. Losing 64 lbs, then gaining 40 lbs of it back while completly destroying his metabolism in the process due to such an insanely unhealthy diet is far from being just a blip on the radar. It will be twice as tough now to lose those 40 lbs back due to the weakened metabolism (I expect a full relapse though). I posted my views on this type of diet on page 7 way back in December and why it is a bad idea, and unfortunatly it looks like I'm gonna be proven right after such a great weight loss run by the OP. Permanent weight loss is done with a lifestyle change, not a quick fix diet. You balloon right back up as soon as you get off this type of starvation diet.

I hope for your sake of those late pictures where you looked much healthier, that you don't fully relapse and get back on track, hopefully with a true lifestyle change.

Keeping it off is hard. I know, I had lost 50 lbs at one point, then slowly gained it back. Now I'm back to losing the weight, lost 30 lbs. now, and will try to make a better effort on making sure it stays off. By the way, use http://pics.bbzzdd.com/ as your other pics back at the original post are long gone.
