Losing weight is possibly the hardest thing a person could ever do. People that do succeed and lose the weight are never the same person again and have a different perspective on healthy eating. I find it funny that when people say "i'm going on a diet". Eating healthy isnt going on a diet, eating healthy is eating normally. This in my opinion is where most people lose track of their weight loss, eating healthy is not only for the time you're trying to lose weight, eating healthy is something you're supposed to do your entire life.

Anywho congratulations on the current weightloss jakedeez. And dont worry about the one week you were off. If you never quit, you can never fail.

I just wanted to chime in and say you're an inspiration. Your example has motivated a lot of people on these boards it seems! Keep it up.

I just found this thread. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm impressed with the way you are getting support here on the forum. Good for you and good luck.

Okay - so for a few weeks I kinda fell off the wagon, kinda hardcore fell off, it was a great three weeks 😀 I gained about 20 lbs over the break, but I am back on and have lost 9 of the lbs. Not great prognosis for long term goals, but I think when I go off the liquid next time, I can do better if I stick with the program, and not just go right over the cliff 😀

The diet program has been modified, I now get 5 protien servers (and dairy servings) not 4 a day, and up to 4 cans of veggies! Huray for more to eat!

Good luck. Try sitting down with the Dr. you're doing this with and figuring out how to stay on the wagon while satisfying any food cravings you might have?

Congrats, your progress is inspiring to me. I respect all your work, but you should also maybe talk to your doctor or see a psychiatrist about your habits when you're off the diet. That type of binge eating is often a result of emotional issues. Anyhow, you have my respect and best wishes.

How much working out are you doing? Dont mean to be harsh, but you really dont amaze me at all. How does a person "lapse" and gain 20 pounds in a few weeks? I've gained 20 pounds in the last 5 years.

Get back on that wagon!! I know how easy it is to fall off that wagon and how hard it is to get back on.
Keep strong! We are all proud of ya!

Has alot to do with having lost all that weight right before, and gaining alot of weight from water.

I haven't read most of the thread, but are you still on the extreme diet? At what point do you switch to a more normal diet?

Good work btw.

Thanks 🙂

I am supose to be on the extreme diet, but have kinda been off it. well on and off for the last 6 weeks - time to get back on. 🙂

I hope the thought of being "on" and "off" a diet eventually goes away. Good eating should not be a short term thing that ends at some point. Maybe the the food changes. But a diet should be more a thought process and a way of life than a finite starting and ending event.

And I did not see in there how the exercise is going . That is a big part of it and I hope you have started. Anything is good.

Keep it up.
