Now that Computex is on, chances of AMD having a Titan beater diminish every day we don't hear something from them, imo.

Their schedule is to launch at E3. I do think it would make sense to leak something if they have a good card, though.

I predict that they will launch Carrizo and tease Fiji in the stupid fail-at-marketing way that only AMD can do so well.

AMD - "We're going to release our info on June 16 with PCGamer."

GPU Gamers - "Nvidia released a card on Jun 1st. If AMD doesn't release something by June 2nd, it means their card is horrendous!"

AMD - "We said months ago it comes out on June 16th!"

GPU Gamers - "No care, if you don't have something for us June 2nd after the GTX 980 Ti came out your card must suck. Oh, and if you release your card now on June 2nd the way we ask, your card is a reaction to the GTX 980 Ti's card release, and therefore more suck since you felt pressured to release your card the day after the Gtx 980 Ti."

This is AMD, it makes SENSE to leak something I agree with you.
However, can we really know what happens in the marketing minds there at AMD?

Ugh, if I thought Crossfire would work for me I'd just get one of those 290s that they are clearing out right now.

Edit: I think I am just too saturated with the subject. I ought to just unsubscribe from all the Fiji threads and forget about it for a while.

The last time there was Titan, there was a 9 month delay before it was semi-obsoleted (it still had compute) by the 780, which had custom models matching Titan performance.

This time, there was a less than 3 month delay before Titan X is utterly obsoleted with even reference 980Ti matching Titan X, well-timed to hammer AMD.

Wasn't it 3 months later that vanilla 780 came out and obsoleted Titan? 780ti was 9 months later.....

Caarizzo has already been launched I think

This is what they said about computex

"During this event, AMD executives and special guests will be introducing new, comprehensive details on AMD’s 2015 product lineup."

If that doesn't mean we are getting all or almost all details...

Yes, the 780Ti obsoleted Titan, because the 780 was a lot slower and Titan still had its compute claim to fame, but the 780Ti was faster and significantly cheaper.

Point is it took them 9 months to kill Titan last time, why do it so quickly with Titan X vs 980Ti that's 5% (with some reviews showing 1-3% delta, not even noticeable!) for a reference card.

-R9 380 4gb $199

-R9 390 8gb $299

-R9 390x 8gb $399

-Fiji pro 4gb hbm $599

-Fiji xt 4gb hbm $749

-Fiji xt /xtx 8gb hbm $849

-Fiji vr 2x8gb hbm $1399-$1499
Quote from chiphell.

A person who calls himself as a distributor of the cards, said that Fiji Pro will be slightly slower than GTX980 Ti

Fiji XT with 4 GB of HBM is supposed to be faster than Titan X, and Fiji XTX is supposed to be the top notch, most powerful version of the card.

We will see if this will be true, but so far it looks like the benchmarks from ChipHell were correct.

If this is true, it also makes sence for Nvidia to provide 95% of performance of Titan X at 649 USD. And puts a lot of last rumors into perspective, that they might have been true, but not exactly about the card in question ;).

It's the 12GB of RAM. Super high end memory option. Granted, Titan Kepler had 6GB over the 3GB of the 780s. But 12. Attsalotta memory. And TitanX is also a full GM200 chip. All 3072 are enabled as opposed to 2816. And stock to stock, TitanX is still faster unlike the 780Ti vs Titan. So, it's a little different this time around.

The presentation started 25 minutes ago. I have no idea why nothing is reported anywhere. Do they have an embargo to let everyone write in peace or something? Is there nothing of value to report?

The gap between 780 and original Titan was similar to the gap between the 980 Ti and Titan X.

Launch review performance averages from TPU:

This time around, the Titan X won't be killed by a 780 Ti-esque card because it's already the full chip. It's still a bad buy from a price standpoint, but you could argue they treated Titan owners better this time around

The amd conference site shows a replay area so I guess we'll see it after the fact.

Maybe started late? I'm seeing nothing about the conference.
Started.

No live blog because they are probably talking about Carrizo and the information is already in all sites.

There is no way they can focus on APU for the entire conference. They can't be that dumb.

I guess if they are going to push hard for the notebook market significant time on it matters, but come on.

Well, Acer just introduced this revolutionary product. This is definitely going to be a big seller, a major loss to AMDs APU division not winning the bid on this one. I guess Intel is inside of everything these days.

Not finding much on their GPUs from today yet either though.
