I have to admit that you are double parked. But in response to Vadatajs' quote listed above-----

Vadatajs: You little f$cking chickensh$t! It's people like you who have no respect for other people's property. Property that they work hard for, paying the man before getting paid themselves in order to buy themselves something nice. But oh no, you liitle f$cking $assturds have to go and do something as cowardly as keying someones car. If I ever catch someone keying a car they will be in the damn emergency room getting my left foot removed from their ass, and my right fist removed from their throat. You gutless asswipe.....if you had any real balls you would meet the person face to face and tell them that you don't agree with the way they parked....yeah right...you'd probably piss your pants before you had the nerve to do that.

uh...hu...

I have intentionally gone out of my way to hit morons that park like you with my door and block them in as best as possible with out parking illegaly myself.

Parking like you did will get you far more than door dings... it'll get you foot dings and keyed.

Yep. And you are an ass for parking like that, and an idiot to boot. You could have simply moved over to the edge of the curb and no one would have been able to ding you anyways.

It was originally something to ask a mere opinion, not an all out bash me, what I drive, or how I chose to park my car. To the people who agreed with me, thanks... Everyone else... you better believe if I were to ever catch anyone (including people on here) mess with my car, you'd have a 19 year old punk giving you a tattoo of Easton right across your head. Just my two cents. I'm done with this.

Here's a clue from someone who has been in this world quite a bit longer than you:

When you act like a selfish, self important bastard in this world, you attract the ire of others. Parking diagonally or taking up more than two spaces WILL get your car vandalized, it's just a matter of time. And no, you wont see who did it and all your tough man fantasies about kicking their asses will not come true. You will be standing over your newly vandalized car, clueless about who did it, completely powerless and throwing meaningless hissy fits because deep down, you'll know it was your own self important stupidity that brought it on.

Would *I* vandalize a car? No, but I've had the urge to a few times when faced with the stupidity you've expressed here. Hell, even my late father, the most moral man I've ever known used to say he wished someone would "ice pick" a car that was parked in two spaces whenever he saw one.

How you choose to park your car in public parking lots IS the business of others if it takes up more than one space, or causes anyone else any inconvenience. You asked an opinion, and got it. The only problem is, you don't LIKE the opinion you got. Tough sh!t. You've been warned, yet you treat these warnings as an insult. Well, you can learn from these opinions, or learn when someone keys your car and kicks in your quarter panel... it makes no matter to me, but it might to you.

I'm going to let my wife hop in on this one (she's a cop)...

::WHHHOOOOTTTTTTT!!!!!! HEY WIFE!!!!!!!::

OfficerShannon: If you got a ticket for improper parking at a sporting event, it wasn't because the officer was "bored". If everyone parked like you did, there would be total gridlock and it would take people 3 or 4 times longer to leave the event. When a large event is planned, the city normally assigns a crew to check for parking violations every 2-3 hours. So....you didn't get a ticket because the officer was bored...you got one because you did something you were not supposed to do that could cause a problem for other people.

Can I eat my breakfast now hon?

::Fritzo gets the keyboard back::

So, there you go. (Thanks dear).

EDIT: When the little woman read the original post, she thought double parked meant that he was parked in back of another car. Taking up two spaces is just as bad when parking is limited.

You Lamer!

Sorry, had to say it. Don't worry though, there are a lot of people who would park right next to you anyway. I would. In fact I often make it a point to deliberately park in one of those spaces if there is any possible way I can maneuver my car in so that my car is not over any lines. Mwahahaha.

You need a serious attitude adjustment. You parked illegally. You dug your own hole, now bury yourself in it. You were not justified in your actions.

I understand that you don't want your new car scratched, who does? But that in no way makes it ok to park in the way you did.

BTW, those same "bored officers" would not hesitate to save your life should the need arise. You might want to think about that before slamming them for doing their job.

LOL, this thread is great, thanks for the laughs AMDstunna. Since money is so hard to come by, and since it's so hard to pay out of your pocket, why did you go and buy a new(er) car, ESPECIALLY a domestic that will lose its value in 2-3 years? If you're working at a supermarket, why didn't you buy a car that fits your income a little better? And on top of that, how can you rationalize taking up 2 spots just because the car is new? You think everyone who drives a new car off the lot deserves to have two spots? Stop doing things the selfish way and start parking further away where there's more space, and if you can't do that, tough cookies - deal with the way things work.

You are an idiot, look how big that spot is, if you are really worried about getting dings, pull as close as possible to that curb, you would have like 4 feet between you and the next car, even if they parked on the line.

Nope... not Asian. Would you like to try again?

Hmm....not Asian....lets see, that's a hard one...how about Retard Poser? :p

I did buy my car with my own money. I don't give a frick. Car gets dings, car gets dings. Trust me, no matter how carefull you are, Murphy's Law will catch up with you. Quick bit of advice, don't take those pictures into the hearing when(if) you dispute the ticket. Only will incriminate you further.

i understand the object of parking defensively, but you are asking for vandalism. I park defensively in my neon and in my cherokee, but i never take up 2 spots.I am dumbfounded as to why you would park like that in an oversized spot. All you have to do is to park as close to the curb as possible.

I had forgotten all about this, but now it's funny all over again. Look at that huge parking spot! That lot's striped so wide that it's almost impossible for anybody to get a ding by parking properly, centered between the lines. And you could have parked next to the curb and erased all remaining chance of getting tapped. :)

While I agree that he parked improperly, I personally think all you "I would've keyed your car" people are worse than he is..at least he isn't deliberatly vandalizing another vehicle. Sure, maybe you park correctly - but you vandalize other vehicles? The irony of it all...
