I did something like this once in a racist way (I was a stupid teenager).
I was selling movie tickets with this other chick at the time and I was telling her that if they looked asian they would buy Pearl Harbor tickets (big movie of the time). I was right on every single account and she kept telling me no way.
Well this asian kid comes up to me to buy a ticket and of course I whispered to her before the kid got to the window that he was gonna buy Pearl Harbor. He didn't speak any english so he just pointed to a random movie and kept nodding his head like yeah that one (he just wanted to waste time). The girl was giving me a "gotcha" look so I go "you don't want to see Pearl Harbor?" and the kids eyes lit up and he goes "ya ya pearl harbor ya pearl harbor!". Was hilarious at the time. Pretty sure the kid didn't care or even have a clue what was going on.
