<< WTF dude why you post this >>

Cause, like the first page said, people think it's just some odd mass, and they have a misconception of how it's done altogether. I'm still pro-choice, but I think people should know before they go around parading pro-choice.

Why are some almost whole, while others are chopped up (and in some cases, resembling a bag of chicken wings)?

mithrandir2001, you don't decide that you are going to die in a car wreck...

These mothers decide to kill their babies, VERY different scenario...

Big dead baby, little hole.

You do the math.

I'm sure you could assemble a page of horrific car wrecks and never want to drive a car again.

Probably, but you kind of HAVE to drive don't you? You don't have to abort.

Anyway I've generally been pro-choice. I must admit these pictures are very disgusting.

Of course these fetuses seem very well developed...what nation was this taken in? I would wonder if in fact most aborted fetuses are anywhere near this level of development. Like whats with the garbage can of babies? Those things looked nearly ready to be born...that wasn't done in North America in recent years.

Realistically this site doesn't mean much unless we know where and when these things originated from...because if it was done in, say, China - a country that regularly has new parents throwing their still-alive children into garbage cans - it doesn't really give much of an idea of abortion in North America.

Good point.

That's not what the point of what he's saying. He's saying that you can put together a site and show people how horrible things are and be turned away from doing it. i.e. being anti-abortion, being scared of driving. That's the same idea, and that's what he's referring to.

<< and in some cases, resembling a bag of chicken wings)? >>

I hate to admit, but that's a funny way of putting it...;)

<< You don't have to abort. >>

Yeah, and people just abort babies for fun.[/sarcasm]

In some cases, yeah they do. Otherwise they would have the child or put it up for adoption.

give me a break. It is the mothers choice to keep the baby or not. I hope all you pro-lifers get a girl pregnant in the most in oppourtune time. Then tell me what you will do. My girlfriend and i both understand that if she gets pregnant, we will be visiting out local abortion doctor.

Well thats an option, whereas staying on the sidewalk the rest of your life kind of isn't...

ANyway i have no interest in getting in a pro/anti debate because like I said I'm pro-choice!

And you think it's any better for an unwanted child to grow up?

How hard is it for a child to grow up in a world where it has nothing and no one that loves it?

Sure those are some gorey pictures...but you can get gorey pictures all over the place.

Adoption is a good alternative...and in a perfect world all babies could be adopted into a loving family.

I don't like abortion, but I don't like producing a bunch of babies that no one is really going to care for either.

Neither is a good choice.

Accept my responsibility and provide for the life that I have helped create.

Abortion is all about convenience, as you so nicely said for me.

Thanks.

Is this going to dissolve into a pro/anti-abortion debate?

My point is that these images are a little too sensationalist for my tastes. You can see an agenda behind them, rather than simple objective observation. These images are indeed real, not digital fakes, but if the whole point of their existence is to turn people away from abortion, I find them less than effective. There is always another side to the story.

Yeah if people weren't so stupid (since the vast majority of unwanted pregnancies are because of not taking adequate preventative measures) then we'd never even have to have this debate. Grr.

There is always another side to the story.

Exactly. I want to know if this is New York or some crappy town in Afghanistan!

Unfortunately, not everyone may be as well-off as you, Viper GTS, and maybe the babies would starve to death and grow up in filth, rather than being "responsibly provided for."

I am not "well off." I am 18 years old, I make ~$30,000 a year. But if I've created life, I have the responsibility to provide for it. Doesn't matter if I make $10,000 or $100,000.
