Frankly this is impossible. VT is a GUN FREE ZONE. Guns are NOT allowed to be brought onto campus. I don't see how this could be happening.
 
It sounds like he's holed up in Squires... based on WBDJ live feed few mins ago. Swat personnel was seen gearing up

And the fact that it happens to be taking place on the same campus where 32 people were killed by a gunman 4 years ago has nothing to do with making it news?
 
There should be a function which allows the poster to turn off outside comments. Be pretty nice at this point.

The only reason this is in the news is because it's VA Tech and the media loves to make people panic (because people love to panic).

Yea, an officer was shot on the campus I went to, and I hardly think there was even much local coverage.
