Any chance this can be activated on T-Mobile? I currently have an Exhibit II and it is so slow and unresponsive that I can hardly stand to use it.

the exhibit II is a pos. it has nice specs but the phone doesnt work like it should. and the ambient light sensor is known to not work on those phones. very annoying.

this htc one v is cdma, so it will not work on tmo.

Yes, a donor phone and full version of CDMA workshop for 3G data. More trouble than its worth unless you want to make it a hobby project . Another alternative is to look for a flashing service ($50?) which makes this phone much less of a deal .

Easy to get non-Verizon CDMA phones on PagePlus for Talk'n'Text only.

Requires a "donor phone" to get working data though.

Do you have any model suggestions for cheap donor phones on CL/eBay?

I'm not sure what specific models I should be searching for, thanks.

Afaik, any 3g capable phone that's not motorola. From what I know Moto phones have the necessary keys locked down in memory and are very difficult to find.
