On the video at 1:27 after the shot, if you stop the video you see both of the guys hands crossed behind his back. They killed him, rather than cuffing him. I didn't even know he was black till I googled the name. Maybe one day, maybe one day.............

His hands were there after the shot... but when he made the decision to taze him, they were under the victim.

I'm guessing this will be involuntary manslaughter, and we will be seeing riots tonight in Oakland and LA.

We'll find out in a couple of minutes.

Thanks for admitting that he was not cuffed which further illustrates your complete lack on knowledge of the case and earlier statement that he was cuffed.

Wow, thats just scary. He was down, handcuffed, and wasn't putting up much of a fight. That is pure murder. No way getting around that. Why did he even has his gun out anyway, the guy was under complete control. Wow, just wow

Thats a lie. At 1:27 of the video frozen after the shot, when the cops stand up you clearly see both of the guys crossed behind his back. He then rolls over and attempts to cover I guess where he was shot.

He was face down and wouldn't give up his arms... Mehserle said he saw him going for his waistband and then decided to taze him. You really need to get your facts straight.

Well when you see both of a guys arms crossed behind his back it appeared he had been cuffed. But its all. He will go to prison, regardless if its manslaughter or murder, and I doubt he will ever come out :). And if he does, a bag will strapped on his hip for the rest of his life. Oh make no mistake about it, the prison sentence is the least of his problems, he is headed for pain, serious pain.................

Seriously, an accident? He just shot and killed a person in cold blood.

He did not murder the suspect. He made a mistake. We like to call that manslaughter, not murder. You don't/can't manslaughter someone in cold blood.

It don't matter, point blank, no matter how long he goes for, they are going to frack this motherfracker and he'll be lucky if they don't kill him. Oh sweet justice is what he will get, trust me...........

So you've been wrong so many times you are just going to settle on ... "it doesn't matter".

This guy here, he is a bad seed, he didn't make a mistake.............

prove it because the video/audio evidence doesn't. the video/audio evidence makes it look like a mistake. Sounds/looks like he meant to grab his taser and tase the suspect, but instead he accidently grabbed his gun and fired. It's obvious it was unintentional by his "oh no" after he had fired.

The cop made a mistake, this is manslaughter. Anyone else who thinks otherwise is a fucking idiot and should be jailed.

You know what dude, I am just going to let it go, he killed a 22 year old kid who was prostrate on the floor. With another cops knee on top of the guys head and neck. Give me a break with the excuse fest for this cop. He didn't need to tase him or shoot him. I just hope he gets a sentence long enough to where he will be in the general population. See how many "oh nos" he has then. We all know a black life ain't worth much, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't walk away with probation. Some how its hard not to fathom that if this kid had been white this would not have happened. Sorry, just another dead black man I guess. Now we are ending up dead for any alleged crime. Damn joke..................
