A lot of times it is unnoticable. I have yet to notice a huge improvement in any drivers. Only time i notice it is when i enable FRAPS when gaming and notice slightly higher framerate.

I tried the 67.66b's after using the 71.20's and I scored 1FPS higher in benchmarks lol. Anyways the reason why I downgraded my drivers was becauser after using the 71.20's i started getting problems with my refresh rate override. I use 100hz on 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 and for some reason it wouldn't keep the values at 100hz anymore. I didn't wanna mess with reforce or anything so I installed the 67.66's and they work great. I'd like to believe they are maybe more stable too? Anyways i'm happy with them.
Also with the 67.66b's.... when you first do the install it asks you what kind of settings you would like such as: High Performance, High Quality, etc... i checked them all off thinking i'd have the ablity to chage it later. My question is... does this just simply change the settings in the "performance tab" or is there something else behind it such as messing with the openGL file or w/e. What i mean is... say i picked High Performance when I installed, does that mean it changes the options in my VC settings to optimize performance OR is there a file that is installed somewhere to get this optimization.
I may sound a bit unclear with that last question, but I'm not really sure how else to explain it.

Anyone try the 71.81s yet? I'm still using the 66.93's from nVIDIA's site and heard there is a lot less tearing from vsync being off in the 71.81s. Can anyone confirm?
i just downloaded the 71.81's. Seem pretty much like the 71.80's, but Halo no longer dies. They are WHQL certified, though, so that's nice. There is still that problem with the vertical line on the left side of the screen at 640x480 resolution. Still, considering I usually run everything at 1280x1024, it's not much of an issue.

Hey guys just saw this thread. This is Daishi btw. We no longer have the Valance Studios site up we changed the name and totaly revamped the new site url is www.tweaksrus.com so you may find all the Xtreme G drivers there and forums and such. would be cool to see you guys there 🙂

With the 66.93s that I run, I get video playback issues in DivX/MPEG2/AVI files. I take it this addresses those issues? (probably in a release a long time ago 😛)
Some have reported having flickering issues...do you experience this?

i believe it does if you download the 3dc demo from humus and run it and press f1 it will tell ya if 3dc is on or not. i do not remember off the top of my head.

For those who do not know or haven't caught on: Tweaks R Us (Daishi) is one of the creators of the the Xtreme G Drivers. From AT: "Keep up the good work". I have posted on Tweaks R Us sight before so you should see me there occassionally (wish i was a beta tester 😛 )
As for me i have been sick these past couple of days and haven't posted much. However tomorrow the thread will be update with all the new drivers as well as websites.
