It's not just that MAGA is evil, they are idiots. Sure America is a very powerful nation - but they have zero clue about anything global or any blowback or repercussions - like Chinese and Russian interests are just going to let them have their way. China is not stupid, and compared to Trump and these narcissistic clueless loons, they do know their shit, and compared to MAGA, they are playing 4D chess.

Well..... if USA and Russia ends into an agreement, China and Europe would see a potential cartel on there and even worse, the Arabs would join and checkmate for everyone...
Usans dont know geography, they dont realise that Russia has common large borders with China and that the US is a distant island for them, Russia is not foolish to believe the always lying US and be used as a shield for Us interests at risk of being in conflict with her powerfull neighbor, if isolated from Europe the US would end as a powerless nation without any significant means of projections.

Well... Iran is about to fall along Cuba. If USA manages to get Cuba and the oil they have, and then Iran can't give oil to China or other countries, they and Russia will have the upper hand. And if Arabs join, that would end badly for everyone

No, canadians and mexicans are also americans, the US citizens are called Usans, at some point you should find a name for your country, when talking of Germany or of France citizens no one say the "europeans", they specify the exact country within Europe.

What is sure is that arab states are out of the equation in matter of international relations, what is left along the US is Russia, China and a divided EU, India count a little because of population and economic wheight but they are not comparable to the other four, rest is only here as a powerless spectator and eventualy a victim like Venezuela.

Do you know of any Canadians or Mexicans that want to be called Americans? This is kind of a weird bugaboo to have.

They want to be called canadians but they do not agree to call their southern neighbors with the name of their continent, they ll tell you that they are also americans, or perhaps that you should pay attention to the canadians opinion before telling them that they do not care, because actually they do from what i did read here and there.

Beside why should it be a problem to call Usans the US citizenry, here in France the name of the US in french is Etats-Unis, and some call their citizenry Etatsuniens, others are stuck with the term Americains.

Yes, Canadians and Mexicans live in North America, but they would never call themselves Americans. In English, it is appropriate to call people from the US "American", and people not from the US would not be American. No one gets confused by where you're from if you say you're American.

However, in other languages, like Spanish, you can use something closer to your weird construction (which is not weird in Spanish): estadounidense.

Your tangent about Europe is irrelevant.

That s just an aknowledgment that Usans use the name of their continent to name themselves, wich is basicaly an abuse of language, the tengent is rather the way the US citizenry is calling herself, or perhaps that you should do like the Haitians who restaured the initial name of the native inhabitants of the island instead of Hispaniola wich was the spanish rename.

Our continent is North America, not America, and there's actually another one, isn't that wild?!?
Did I tell Canadians they don't care? I don't think I did that, can you help me see where I did that?

I just think this is an odd stance to hold after people from the United States have been called "Americans" for a century or however long. I can't say I really give much of a rat's ass myself. I mostly think it's funny/quirky when people use "USAians" and such variants. "Usans" comes across as stupid though.

So you are north americans, and more specificaly Usans, the inhabitants of the USA since canadians and mexicans are also north americans, and that this abuse of language is two century old has nothing to do with geography but with cultural domination of the USA, wich is another matter.

Btw, there s several terms in english, United-statesian, Usonians and so on, i will adopt
usonian since that s the simplest to write.

Usonians is better than "Usans" at least. Not as good as USAians though. Both are worse than "Americans".
Abuse of language 🙄 Please. You're being prescriptivist, language is as language does. We're using English right now, the product of centuries of abuse of language.

USAians seems too confusing with asians, that s why i ll use the term usonians, as for english it s still less abusive than french and much more logically constructed, indeed it s quite easy to learn for a french along with italian and spanish.

No one decide of the bills that decide for his life, everyhere there is voluntary loopholes to get the masses from really getting what they want, we are thrown bones, although i would agree that there s some who can extract more than they provide to the society, the dividing line is in the income, there s a threshold at wich point you collect more benefits than what you re providing to others.

I wont get further in this debate but i ll point what jazzmen Sun Ra once stated, that there s no real minister of justice, as the role of this minister is simply to punish those who break the laws, but at the same time those who make things such that we live in a better world are never rewarded, it is like the society feel entitled to collect those good deeds for free.

US citizen is correct.

American is also correct, as no other country on the entire planet has the word America in their full country name. As a heads-up, the full country name is United States of America. America is literally right there in the name, unlike any other country... on the planet.

If you're just going to make shit up, that's fine, but it's nonsense and no one has to take it seriously.

Usan is a name of an individual. Or an acronym. Or a meaningless string of letters. It is not a descriptor of a citizenry.

If you are determined to use a made up word, at least give it some semblance of sense and use a capital U and a Capital S, and if you're doing so for English speakers, it's going to be USian. If I see USian, I can use context to make out that someone is for some unknown reason choosing not to use US Citizen or American for their own reason to describe a US Citizen or American.

Usan means nothing to anyone but you and is 100% objectively incorrect.

To get back on topic it look like the US has restaured slavery on a whole country, so a terrorist state and also a slaves owner by the dozen millions.
I understand it has not been practiced in our life times, but this is called colonialism.

We are back to the 19th century, neo colonialism is no more enough to grab other s countries ressource, at least for the US, the chinese are more subtile and much less greedy.

Anyway Trump wont be here forever, and to get this policy going on there s no other mean for his associates than to win the next elections, and since that will be an existential question for them i wouldnt be surprised that we could see huge irregularities in the coming years elections, it s not like patented fascists would bother with legality.
