A-fucking-men!!!

Ok, now that we know that you grasp that concept could you please explain why the fuck you make dozens of threads about your offense to people/corporations/governments not kowtowing to your (and yours alone) religion? You make that statement about someone reading a Christian prayer but you have the nerve to make a thread bitching and crying because Google said happy holidays????

Maybe Incorruptible will go back and post in his own threads about how students and parents have no right to be offended.

The point of those threads is to highlight the issue of attacks on Christianity. I don't want corporations to be forced to adopt Christianity but I am voicing my opinion.

When I made the thread about Google I was showing the double standards and hypocrisy from them. I didn't want them to be forced to say Merry Christmas but I felt they should say it.

Anytime a non-Christian is attacked the media makes a big deal yet ignore/downplay it when it happens to Christians.

No the point of your threads is to troll P&N and then whine about the fact that people point out your blatant trolling.
Go DIAF you hypocritical worthless troll.

People couldn't even hear the prayer since people were cheering so loudly. How does this bother anyone?

What about the minority of people who might be bothered? They may feel pressured into silence while their rights are trampled by the majority. Why do you have to oppress other people by using public resources to push your religious beliefs? Why do you hate America and the Constitution so much?

As a representative of the public school and the student body, it was neither the time nor the place for the prayer.

Saying Happy Holidays is NOT an attack on Christianity. Frankly, expecting everyone else to say Merry Christmas would be much much easier to consider an attack on the various other religions that have holidays during the same time period.

Most normal people say Merry Christmas and not happy holidays which is BS. That time of the year is for Christmas and not the other religions though.

Don't change the greeting just for them. I know lots of people who aren't Christian and say Merry Christmas. They don't get offended.

I know plenty of Christians who say Happy Holidays, and aren't hypersensitive nitwits. Guess we just run in different circles. I'm sure glad I haven't run into anyone like you yet, other than the guy wearing a sign that says the end is near.

I will never understand why some people want others to hear their prayers to god. Are they so insecure?

The people that are like that rely on others to validate their personal beliefs. Not all religious people are like that, but you don't know those people. Their personal convictions are just that..personal.

Validation is a basic human need, and the kind of validation you refer to is naturally sought after since, in the absence of any evidence, all religious people have is a shared delusion, which requires constant expression and reinforcement. That is why they can't stfu. Especially when there are incompatible gods competing for the enslavement of your mind. They need to be loud. These soft "religious people" you mention simply LACK conviction.

I support the beginning of you statement. But I don't agree 100% with the end. There are religious people who keep their personal convictions personal. They are secure if their beliefs, practice them quietly. Sure, they go to church and such, but they don't need it to have their beliefs solidified because it already is.

Speaking directly about Christianity. The Bible teaches to spread your faith through actions, not words. Humility, kindness, love...Love being the greatest of all. People who choose to live their lives like this, practice their religion like this, gain my respect. For example, I have family who strive for this and I respect them for it. I was brought up like this as well. I try to practice these as well, not because I fear eternal damnation in a lake of fire, but because it's the right way to treat others. We rarely even bring up religious discussions out of mutual respect for each others personal convictions.

My point is that, as an example, Christians who choose to actually practice what they preach remain in the shadows, expressing their religions through actions...rather than words. You'll never know they're there.

In Christianity, Jesus followers are commanded to preach -- they're not doing this because of some perceived weakness of faith. Read Matt 24:14.

If you're going to say something, be truthful and accurate. Jesus indeed talked to people and showed his faith through word and deed. Nowhere in the Bible are Christians told to keep their faith private... What they are told to do is to practice what they preach. In this sense, people recognize their faith by the things they do and see the authenticity behind it. However you can't make disciples without preaching. Matt 28:19, 20.

But the facts remain, they're preaching because they're told to by their leader -- church reaffirms their faith. And those who do what Jesus did as far as preaching is concerned have my respect.

They're commanded to preach because of the inherent weakness of faith. There's no meaningful difference between the various creation stories, but because there aren't many followers of, say, thor, anymore, one would feel insecure in adopting that faith, as you wouldn't have much company. The more members there are the more credibility a particular faith acquires. People make fun of mormons because they're a minority, not because they're any more daft than any other Christian.
