Here's my result.
I dl'd the game, installed the game, played the game for 5 minutes, the physics still suck, stopped playing the game.

If you want realism, play Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix. Quit your bitching. Honestly, you expect real physics when you can run around shooting plasma, biosludge, and thermonuclear warheads all from the palm of your hand?

I don't care about realism, just fun games.
In my opinion the UT engine, including the new UT2003 engine, has a non-fun "feel" to it. I never feel like I'm in the game. Hard to explain. When I play Q3, RTCW I get the feeling of being there. With UT I feel like I'm driving a car instead of walking/running. Hence my comments about the physics still sucking - I don't want "real" physics, just physics which immerse me into the game. I tried playing again and
IN MY OPINION they still need some tweaking.
Did I mention that this was all
IN MY OPINION? Perhaps that will prevent twits from accusing me of bitching. The purpose of releasing a demo is to check for bugs, check for balanced gameplay, and get user feedback. Please forgive me for providing feedback.
