DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is sweet

First of all, my frame rates are what I expected after reading all of Anand's articles. The outdoor DM level is the slowest. It'll drop to the 30s and 40s during lots of closeup action. The indoor DM level rarely drops below the 60 range. CTF map is in between. I am running 1024x768x32 with every possible detail maxed, and I'm also using EAX. My rig is in my sig.

-The game looks awesome...a very nice graphical upgrade. That CTF map is just sweet looking.
-The Bomb run mode is really cool
-I like how it's faster paced this time around, constant non-stop action.
-The deaths and damage are awesome. A few that stand out: 1. Headshots. Head explodes in a bloody mess and then the guys suit goes up in flames. 2. If you shoot the corpses around you can hear bones breaking as they slide along the floor. 3. On the bomb run level, jump down the hole where you drop off the bomb...the fall is freakin HILARIOUS!!
-Weapons are sweet. Who was it that said there was no sniper rifle? It's just replaced with the lightning gun thing.

Anyone know how to use the adreniline(sp?) pills?

Well one thing i figured out was, once you get enough fo them (around 4 or 5 i think) you can tap your move forward key a few times and you get a short burst of extra speed. You'll know it works when the announcer says "speed"...it lasts for under 10secs i think

Also did anyone get higher than "Wicked Sick"?? I think it's after you make 30 kills in a row without dying...in UT, the highest was "Godlike" but now they got "Wicked Sick"...wondering if it goes any higher.

Played on an Instagib and LowGrav server earlier. Really hard to tell which bodies are dead and alive when the action starts going insane.

hmm... my gameplay looks like an extremely heavy fog. I can't see sh!t Stupid Radeon.

Try turning off Antialiasing. Mine did the same thing AFTER I turned it on. Looked like a foggy mess, just like you said. Turned it off and it's back to normal.

I've been playing "Instant Action" mode or whatever, and it's great, but when I try to find online servers it tells me there's some sort of error and it can't connect to the main somethingorother.

Also when you have the adrenaline pills and take damage, your health recharges.

I just checked and didn't see your server anywhere under "aoto beast cable". You need to put your machine in the "DMZ" in your router settings for other people to be able to connect to you.
