whoops...I guess I missed just enough plays to now realize I've been rooting for France in blue the whole time. 😳

Apparently I've been impressed by France's speed and passing. 😀

Just saw the update! That makes me feel a lot better. I hope they can keep up the pressure and hold France off. France sounds dangerous enough that I wouldn't count out us going to OT (or worst case scenario, we could lose in regulation).

And that's where Abby shines. She may not get many goals off the feet but you sure as hell don't want her in the box and the ball in the air if you are on the other team.

When you have that many shots on goal, a few are bound to go in.
 
About 7 in reg but no idea on extra time.

US up 3-1 and all the momentum. France is really putting on the pressure though
 
Is it 2-1 or 3-1? ESPN Gametracker is showing it at 3-1. Not sure how that would happen unless they got a quick goal right after that corner.
 
Our defense has been letting France get way too deep but they have come up BIG when the shots come to goal. France is just not finishing as we are in position to block most of those shots.

But if we let Sweden get that deep they will finish and we will be in major trouble.
