I think the issue is not whether or not they knew if they were in NK, but rather if the NK officials acted as if they were in NK even if they may not have been.

???? It's a front page story on every news website and newspaper website I've been to. Every morning show I flipped past talked about it. What are you reading/watching exactly?

The Obama admin has said the United States is ?engaged through all possible channels to secure their release." Sorry, they didn't decide to go to war over this. If you want more vehemence, consider just maybe they're still marshalling the facts before making some pronouncement that will bite them in the ass and make them look dumb. You don't declare people to be innocent if you don't know that they are.

As to why there was less coverage previously it's because NK doesn't allow foreign reporters free access and their court system is sealed to all outsiders. What was there to report?
