Also, the receiver should receive the compensation correct?

No. They can only refund/compensate the person who paid for the shipping.

Is it possible the seller took the money and ran?

Yes. But you need to make some reasonable efforts to contact the seller before you can pursue anything else.

Ok, thanks for the info.

You should be mad at the seller, not UPS. The seller is the UPS customer and the only one that can file the claim. You can whine to UPS all you want, it's not going to help.

Well if the seller doesn't see it when delivered how can he file a claim saying it was damaged....

You tell the seller the package was damaged and then it's the seller's responsibility to file the claim for you.

Ok, you criticize MY english when you are so ignorant that you can't even capitalize the first letter in a sentence....

Says the guy who didn't capitalize the "e" in English, and used "Ok" in place of "Okay".

Ok, we aren't in college, but it does seem you are stuck arguing with someone like you are in the fifth grade. (maybe too much credit given?)

Then tell me why a receiver can file a claim also on damaged merchandise?

let me get this straight ... you asked for a supervisor via EMAIL?!?

get on the phone and actually SPEAK to someone instead of acting like this whiney tough guy behind your internet annonyminity(sp?), OR go to the damn hub and speak to a manager. i cannot believe you are trying to pursue a problem with a company as large as UPS via email.

grow a pair.

The claim ultimately needs to go through the UPS customer, which is the seller. What you filed just facilitates the process. There is nothing UPS can do until the seller does his part in filing the claim.

Why would I want to go to Bumfvck, Egypt or wherever UPS' main office is and go in there and say hey my package is broke....?

You sound like a whiney bastard.

What, when someone pays for a service and they don't do a good job or ruin something more then when they started you can't complain.

When someone gets all pissy because they don't understand how something works, the complaining seems a lot less justified.

Wow, I am really surprised you guys can copy and paste and expect to satisfy customers. Well I am not satisfied with your company and their handling of claims. I would like to be redirected to someone that does not copy and paste a resolution to a problem. If needed I can share this information regarding your "resolution" of my claim with hundreds of my peers. I just hate when people PAY YOU to ship something and you break it and take no fault in your mishandling.

This is incredibly whiny. The responses you posted clearly explained that they can only deal with the shipper (that is, the seller). They haven't settled the claim yet, and they can't settle it with you. They need the shipper to verify that damage occurred.

Also:

Open the box to find out the bezel on it is cracked, BAD, like it was housed in the World Trade Center on Sep. 11

In very poor taste.

My package has been delayed WAY too long.
The first day it was delayed (Tuesday it was pretty dangerous), but NOW it is just getting ridiculous adverse weather MY ASS. Streets have been fine for 2 days (since Wednesday morning). These excuses are just RIDICULOUS.

you started the email correspondence with UPS with that? ahahaha, professionalism ftw.

Simile to give you an example of the damage incurred. Sorry if it offended anyone.

Your beef is with the seller. UPS HAS NO BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. If you paid through Paypal open a claim against the seller, it's been long enough.

Hoping to talk to him tonight via AIM and YIM. If it is not resolved I will take those steps as bad as I don't want to.

I guess I wasn't familiar with the process. The point here, however is the $h1t pre-written answers and lack of an explanation of the problem. I had the premonition that they were just stringing me around.

1. You need to learn how to complain...you sound like a 13-year old girl in your emails..."but...but...but....whine...whine...whine..." I understand that you're frustrated but your methods of resolution are not going to get your anywhere.

2. The seller is the customer, not you. It is there responsibility to get you your products to your door...if it was damaged take it up with the seller. If the seller is unresponsive then file a chargeback on your credit-card or go through Paypal's resolution center.

3. Since you said the poster has posted since you've sent him PM's why don't you call him out publicly? It sure sounds like he's avoiding you...and regardless of how immature you're handling your UPS conversations you certainly don't deserve to be trolled...

Who else here thinks that UPS may have in fact not been the people who damaged it...that it may have already been damaged prior to shipment???

OK, you just said that I sounded like I was whining and then ask me why I didn't call him out publicly. I also am glad that you understand my frustration. (only thing your post contributed.... well also on how to refund my payment)

Okay. You had a premonition of the evil nature of UPS, doing business the way they always do... And I laughed at you. Where is the confusion?
