That's not the point, when someone comes into a car forum claiming to own semi-exotics at an early age, I'm curious. That's all.

As for the OP, he gave an ETA so we'll wait. I'm just poking at the other forum member that seems to be well off with a GT-R and a 650i, just want some legitimacy in the car forum. Too much to ask?

I smell jealousy

Shoosh, Snail... I gave an interesting story of a pearl white GT-R 😛.

Where do you live? Everything you described is what I experience every day while driving to and from work. Drivers down here are just so ignorant of what's going on around them that they only make the traffic situation worse.

Alabama.

I was actually able to instill some good driving values into one of my workmates, so I'm sort of helping one person at a time 😛.

One is how we have two lanes going out of work... a left/straight and a straight/right. Well, people tend to sit in the straight/right wanting to go straight, but they don't realize that they stop the people that are trying to make a right-on-red. I've had to sit behind someone for about 3-4 minutes once and I could have turned nearly the whole time (traffic in the other direction caused the light to not change). I use the left lane to go straight even if I need to be in the right lane on the other road... there's plenty of time to move over.

There was another time when I was in a lane that leads only to an off-ramp, and a car in the lane to the left of me turns on his signal to get into the lane I was in. I'm prepared to just let him in front of me, but all of a sudden the guy puts on his brakes. I ask my workmate, "What the hell is he doing!?" He says, "People around here don't normally let other people in front of them." :\

Around here nobody signals for a lane change, it's all about outpowering you and taking it from you. If you give any indication that you are trying to be friendly and allowing them to get over, or will let them in if they signal and ask, they will zoom ahead and squeeze their way in front of the car in front of you. :\

Right, but not everyone on a forum is "filthy rich" either. Statistic would disagree with you. Or should I resign to the fact that everyone here owns at least 5 Ferraris and have supermodel girlfriends with perfectly round elbows?

Of?

$60,000-70,000 cars being financed <<<< numerous $200,000+ cars

Where do you get a GT-R for $60K - $70K?

Wow wow, enough with the soppy "i was a victim" posts, go start your own support group. This thread is about GT-Rs and people wanting to see pics of these super awesome cars. Speaking of which, I'm still waiting on Sinanju's pic of his awesome pearl white car, which happens to be my favorite color for a GT-R.

I think you'll be waiting forever for that pearl white. But who knows. The kid could be a genius with Photoshop.

Good grief, give the guy a break. Has the human race devolved to the point you can't be happy for someone else getting a nice car? Damn.

If he's lying, then his life sucks worse than yours since he feels the need to lie about getting a nice car. Get over it.

OP: Congrats again and look forward to the pics.

If he's lying, then his life sucks better that yours. Get over it.

No, we don't think OP is lying. No one here doubts him. We're excited for him and just waiting for the car to arrive. The only one we doubt and know is lying is Sinanju. 23 years old and owns GT-R and 650i? Sure could happen. But only if he's a wizard with Photoshop. Or his dad is going through mid-life crisis.

Just like Naustica said, I'm not doubting the OP (although I was at first). But I would never go on a forum and claim something my parents own as mine. If someone here can afford a GT-R and a late model 650i and in their early 20's, more power to them. It's not impossible, but improbable (unless proven otherwise).

My life don't suck, I make a comfortable living, do whatever the hell I want whenever I want. But there's more to life than cars - there's also hookers and blow - so to speak. I know a lot of outstanding forum members in ATG have coins laying around, and even they don't have the sort of braggarts that other people are claiming. Percentile wise, some of us are in the top 5% of income, and we know what's possible and what's not. So in short, while it's fun to talk about it, there's no need to try to gain "rep" here by lying, that's all.

Plenty of 23 year old drug dealers 😛

It's like Tryvre or whatever his handle was. No one believed he was an actor or his simple matter of fact reporting on his life.

Who the hell cares? Whether or not some random guy on the internet does or does not have a car has no effect on anything. It does make you look really obnoxious when you repeatedly state your suspicion and are then proven wrong though. Give it a rest...

What, you didn't get the memo?

Sinanju said:
i have no reason what so ever to start taking pictures of my hard earned belongings just to appease some child with an apparent inferiority complex. Which wouldn't even make you happy to begin with.

While our economy is just now coming out of the crapper, there are a wide variety jobs that warrant the kind of salary to own such a car. i e government contracting.

While the internet is large, ATG is a small community, we want to retain a certain level of respectability here.

I only asked once, the rest is just having a conversation with other forum members. But I find it intriguing that you'd come in and defend someone that could potentially be lying.

Your mind, how it works, very interesting.

As for the cars, the 2011 650i caught my eyes. There's no such thing.

wow...internet background checka...

If you want to research suspected 'liars' L&R and P&N should be your main stops.

When Jensen Button sold his Bugatti Veyron he replaced it with a GTR. So it must be a real driver's car.

I would love a one myself. Cheapest I've seen them over here is about £45k for a used one, or you could even get a used Ferrari 430 for around the same price.

You can not get an F430 for £45k...you can get a 360 for 35k+.

As for the other dudes car it doesn't really matter.

You should go to other forums where no one really asks for pics etc. As everyone has a £60k+ and a few members have 2 or 3 £80k+ cars and about 3 members have about £1-2M in cars! Most of these guys are business owners who love cars.
